Great value!! I will get much use from product

A good value for the price.
Probably not a good choice for precision machining, but it works well for my purposes. Castings a bit rough. It was wobbly when received, but the gibs have adjusting screws and that tightened it up. There is still a bit of backlash in the screw mechanism , but I can compensate for that.

Works great, a little big
Very nice unit, great price. The only downside is that it is very tall so it takes up valuable space but it holds parts very well and the precise adjustments come in very handy.

Not quite ready for use as received, needed a bit of rework.
The cross slides were loose and the machined surfaces were a bit rough as received. I disassembled the vice and stoned the machined surfaces, regreased, reassembled and then adjusted the gib screws. This seems to have solved the sloppiness in the cross slides. We will see.

It's a Grizzly
It works, but it is a Grizzly. It is not the best on the market but it's a bit better than what you get from Harbor Freight.I would recommend if you need one fast and will work, here you go.

Defective worm gear that slides the vise.
Did not work properly, had to repair right out of the box. Was going to return but they would not cover shipping for the defective item. Very low quality, I would not recommend for any precision work. I was able to make adjustments to the worm gear to get the vise to slide but still sloppy and loose.

Ideal for the home workshop
Ideal for the home workshop, where tolerances are not as demanding as a tool shop. Backlash is as much as 0.010 inches in both the X and Y axis. Speedy delivery.

There is some play in the ajustment screws, i cleaned it and sand some roughly machined parts, it's all right for my everyday DIY project since i dont need NASA precision. Cheap and delicious !!! The price is right !!!

Works well with a small drill press
With some tightning this cross-sliding vice can be one ambitious little lathe. X and Y axis are solid after some tinkering.
