Dr Oetker Cream Cheese Cake Mix

I'm the baker in the house, and I love to bake with this brand. I full disclosure, my wife is German, and I found out about the brand while living in Germany. We just continued to use it once we moved stateside. Great product and I use this, plus the Black Forest Mix for a very special desert.

I love premix of Dr.Oetker. This one is no exception, EXCEPT this package contains only the cream mix. You have to still use own flour, egg, sugar and other ingredients to bake the cake itself. For a dollar more, you can get the complete set.

It took 6 weeks to get and when I finally received it ,it was incorrect items

- used greek yogurt that I drained in cheesecloth as we dont have quark- a little tricky to convert metric measurements to US system- you need to make your own cake- suggest adding canned (drained) mandarin oranges in a layer on the bottom cake before topping with the cream layer

I'm sorry but the directions were in German. I'm sorry I bought it.
