Impressed!
I had always worn boonie hats in the summer, and wanted a change...also didn't want something the wind would blow off. This hat surprised me how nice it is...it keeps it's shape very well, and is actually really comfortable! I have a size 7 3/8 head size, and this XL fits me perfectly (would fit a 7 1/2 easily). It's a stout crown, and holds it's shape quite well. The hat has an elastic band inside, that allows comfort, but isn't too tight at all. I really like this hat, and I wasn't expecting how nice it looks. (I had to trim a few long sewing strings from the sewing of material) --- overall, a really, really nice hat, that fits well, looks fantastic, and I see absolutely no problems with it. It came folded in a box, but sprang to shape immediately, and 'stayed' in shape. Would I buy again? Absolutely!!!

Gus's straw Hat
Come March 20 is the first day of Spring. Cowboy Ettiquette states that felt hats aren't worn in Spring and Summer. I ordered this Hat as my Spring, Summer Hat. This Hat is awesome. It looks just like Captain Agustus McCrae's white felt Hat in Lonesome Dove, except that it is Brown, Palm Straw. Looks good. Fits like a Glove. I'll be wearing this in the HOT summer Georgia heat. Buy it, you'll love it!

Good hat on a hot and humid day.
Great hat while working on my hobby farm. Keeps the sun off of my head in a hot humid climate. My wife likes the looks of it. Very lightweight. Size is good. I found this a good value and has held up.

Perfect hat for riding the zero turn and wielding the weed eater in summer
Wide brim, comfortable to wear, survives minor gusts, looks “yard guy official” but not cheesy, can wear sunglasses underneath without ears getting cramped, despite being dirty does not actually look dirty. Perfect hat for riding the zero turn and wielding the weed eater in summer.

Packaging was open but item was ok.
While I liked the hat the box/packaging was open at both ends. Looked like it had been crushed. The hat however was in good condition/shape and I liked it. Might want to work on your packaging though. Thank you.
