Wonderful Little Book!
This is a great book for both beginners and seasoned practitioners to learn the benefits of using mudras for health and well-being! Clear explanations of the hand positions and benefits for each. Highly recommend!

Excellent book!
The only problem I have with this book is that I can't decide which mudra to work with first!I have a neurological heart issue and using two mudras, in particular, from this book, have been invaluable for me. My heart palpitations will slow and steady within just a two minutes, and the one for low blood pressure is very balancing. I can feel my breathing open up more in my diaphragm when I use the one for low blood pressure. I have used some of the others in the book, too, and again....invaluable! This book has opened my interest in yoga, in general, and have begun some gentle chair yoga. I didn't realize just how healing and balancing yoga could be until finding this book.I have the kindle book, and had gotten the paperback from the library, which got me started. I have no problems, at all, with the kindle book. Some of the other reviewers were complaining about the kindle setup, but that must have been resolved. It is very good, now.

Simple, concise and my on the altar go to book
First off, the 1 star ratings of this book have nothing to do with the book. Okay done with that. This little gem of a book is the perfect companion for understanding mudras. Yet, it is so much more than mudras. It starts off with explanations, touches on the music, color, chakras, acupressure and ayurveda; includes meditations and affirmations, there are about 52 mudras with a drawing, explanation of how to do it, it's meaning, what physical ailments t it may help to heal, a mini meditation and affirmation for each one. There is a section on mudra exercise, kinda like yoga and warm exercises you can do (which feel great) right before sitting down to your practice. It finishes up with a little info on the 5 elements wood, fire, earth, metal and water.I had never heard of this author prior to purchasing the book. I'm so glad I read the reviews and followed my gut. I have learned so much.My book has fallen apart, the glue dried up or wore out. Not sure what that is about. I think I may have to purchase another. :)

Happy with my buy
It a good book of clear understanding of mudras. Like it talk about the fingers and their elements. Have yoga poses and their meaning. Have affirmations when you do the mudras. And how to meditate on them. Explains the mudras and their function in the body. And how long to do them there some you can't to for too long.

I'm happy with this purchase because the language is simple
There are so many books out there, and you can never tell from a few pages if it's the right selection for you. I'm happy with this purchase because the language is simple, but does not trivialise one's desire for true knowledge. There's lot's of cross referencing, and an index so you can skip all the preamble and go straight to your area of pain or concern. Mudras are my best self-help health discovery yet! I can do them while standing in line at the bank, on the treadmill, lying in bed and still get some relief from my complaint even if I don't have time for concentrated meditation, or am not in a place conducive to rest and meditation.
