Bucket Dog Car Seat Cover-Eco-Friendly QuiltedReversible Slate/Sand

Wow. I spent two days reading reviews on about 50 different dog seats on probably 7 different websites. I finally settled on purchasing this one despite the mixed reviews. Let me tell you that this seat works perfectly in my 06 Toyota Tundra. The neck strap is perfect and easy to use. Whenever someone wants to ride up front, I just unhook and fold down. That easy. No mess. No hassle. The bottom elastic strap is useless as is. BUT. Take some scissors and cut the band in half, singe the ends and now you have two elastic ends that will secure in any direction and will guarantee no movement.I have not had any issues in regards to the water proof. My dog drools on it all day but has had no accidents so it has not been tested to that level. Second, my dog does not slip or slide on the seat at all. I have a 40 pound rottweiler pup and he's been on that car seat since he was 8 pounds. If your dog is slipping around, I hate to say it, but it is probably your driving abilities.With some quick modifications I have trouble believing anyone will find a better, more useful dog seat than this one for the price.****Note for the dogs that chew. There is the manufacturing tag on this product located mid level up on the edge. Cut it off immediately. My puppy chewed on that tag and that spot for the longest time. The product still remains intact, which really impressed me, but I had to continually stop my dog from chewing the tags. He wasn't interested in chewing any other part of the car seat so if you remove the tags I imagine you'll have no trouble.****I hope this review helps.*****One Year Later. The Rottweiler is 97 pounds and still enjoys riding on the seat. Still no issues with the product. I highly recommend this product.*****

The seat cover fits well and looks good, but it is slick and the dog cannot grip it if the car has to stop suddenly. Also I find it hard to get the cover on the chair because of the 3 straps that yave to go behind the seat.

We recently purchased a new car with "bisque" (off white) upholstery. We have a dog but she hangs out in the back seat on the Deluxe Quilted and Padded seat cover (we love it). We got these bucket seat covers to protect the impractical white front seats from we humans. These seat covers work well, and won't interfere with our cars in-seat air bags (don't put a slip on cover on your car seats if you want your in-seat air bags to function). They look fine, and only move around a little bit. The only thing I dislike about these at all is that the feel is a bit uncomfortable/syntheticy on bare skin. They install quite quickly, but attaching the front tie down had to be contrived rather than just slipped on. They were a reasonable good deal for the price. We like them and are glad to have them protecting the pristine white seats from whatever it is we are eating on a road trip! I will be doubly grateful for them at resale time for the car I am sure.

This is given as part of the product features: "Waterproof & Quilted Padding". These are NOT waterproof, repeat NOT waterproof, or even water resistant. They are about as waterproof as a sieve and spilled liquid soaked right through into the car seat. We liked that they were eco-friendly and washable and ordered one to check fit before we ordered a second one for the other front seat. Nice idea; too bad it didn't function as described.

On one side this item is grey and on the other side this item is sand. The sand color fits perfect with my Toyota Camry 2007. My car book says that my interior is tan but when I purchased a tan color covers for the rear (not this brand) it looks brown. I am considering getting the rear Duragear covers for a fraction of the cost that I bought the other brand at for the rear of my car. Also Note: When you put the covers to the sand side the white tabs in the material stick out (you know like the tab in your t-shirt) it tells you how to wash the product and so forth but you can just cut it.

I would have given this 5 stars except I could not figure out how to secure it better down near the seat cushion. Otherwise, it's a great product.The one for the back seat stays in place a lot better.

I bought this to protect my seats from my kids and my dog, but mostly my kids! I have a very small dog and would never rely on a car seat cover to keep him seated; I have a car seat for that. I wish this was waterproof for pool trips, but the description does sat water RESISTANT, not proof. This does the trick of covering my seats to protect them from dirt, sunscreen, snacks, etc.

I wasn't able to secure it at the front of the seat so it slides all over the place. I don't use it
