I decided to pick these up due to the unique shape and the price. I only gave three stars as about mid way through cooking I tasted one to determine doneness and they were really bland. I though this may have been why they were on sale, perhaps an older batch that had gone stale. This can usually be remained with pasta by adding some bullion to the cooking water and in this case it perked up the flavor. They took a little longer to cook than the instructions noted - again likely due to staleness. Overall the noodles turned out to be quite nice in texture, which I would describe as rather meaty and nicely chewy, similar to gnocchi. I served them with a Bolognese sauce. The noodles picked up the sauce quite nicely in the small fold but did not do well with all the meat in this type of sauce. I think this noodle would do better with a simpler sauce.

OK, so mac and cheese is probably not what others are buying this for. But it makes THE best pasta for mac and cheese. I use my own cheese sauce recipe with butter, cream, cream cheese, and aged white Vermont cheddar. Filling and tasty. No plain boring elbow macaroni. Makes me very happy.

We bought this multiple times . It has a good taste and texture. The quality has been consistent also.

Wow! Love the flavor and texture of this pasta. It is different from American pasta and so worth trying! I had to cook it a little longer than the directions stated, but in the end, we all had happy faces. It is delicious🍝

Delicious, delicious, delicious! One of the very best Italian pastas. I never made a gravy that loved to hug pasta as much as this brand.
