They look so nice on my jeep. More like a tough look. Seller was excellent on shipping them out quickly

Cool inexpensive upgrade to the Jeep.
They are little difficult to install but watched a couple of videos on YouTube and that helped a lot. My hands are a little big to fit in the tight space for the nuts to go on the bolts but other than that not too bed. I like the look and they hold the hood down snugly.

No more hood shutter and works great! 2016 JKU
OK, so about installation, I was able to search on YouTube about installation and I believe it was called. JK gadgets that I ended up watching. *Now, these hood latches are awesome, sturdy, and actually add to the look of the JK if that’s what you’re after. If you have patience and mechanical ability for DIY installations, then I would believe this will be no problem for you if not, you may need assistance. So for the nitty-gritty… what you’ll need and what I used is a 3/8 drill bit where I had to make the hood attachment holes larger to allow movement as well as where the two plastic square tabs for the fender mount. With out drilling these out on my 2016 JKU there was no way these would function. The title suggest that’s it’s for my year model but I believe they are for JL still. My jeep is an everyday driver and I go crawling every other 3-6 days so even though it’s got brush pin stripes and rock rash, I don’t care to butcher it up. I’m capable of this task, you may not be, but I’ll save headache and tell you once you drive out those holes assembly is there.

Bigger than you think.
There a little bit big, but they start to look smaller within the week. It's made of a strong textured plastic but the part that clamps down the hood is metal. Going down the freeway at a reasonable speed I don't get any hood movement whatsoever.

Quality seems good but needs some modification to fit a 2013 JK.
Had to file off plastic locating tabs on fender side because they didn’t line up with the factory holes. As others have said, latches get in the way of the hood when closing.

works great
nuts are a little hard to reach but manageable. Hood no longer moves in high wind. Looks better than original hood latches.
