Good Book focusing on Serena’s Career
The media could not be loaded. Interesting book. I like there are graphs showing different games, wins, losses, etc. interesting perspective, if you’re into that type of thing. I like learning about her life, game, and road to being one of the G.O.A.Ts!

Wonderful, in depth biography that showcases the achievements and controversies of Serena Williams.
Wonderful, in depth biography that showcases the many achievements, records and controversies in the career of Serena Williams. Hodgkinson confronts the subjects of scheduling, gender inequality, the championing of women's rights, fines and politics in sport and is unapologetic in his endorsement of Williams throughout, even using 'disturbing' and 'disgusting' to describe two particular painful defeats suffered by the American heroine. Excellent photography and infographics highlight this remarkable and very cool biography. On page 113 It was claimed Chris Evert had a 101-12 win/loss career record at the US Open which is actually INCORRECT. Evert was unsuccessful 13 times at the US Open including a semi-final default to German Steffi Graf at the 1988 tournament. On page 133 It was claimed to January 2019, Serena Williams at the US Open had reached the semi-finals or better 10 times in 18 appearances which is actually INCORRECT. Serena also reached the semi-finals in 2009 and 2016 for a total 12 semi-finals or better in 18 appearances. On page 158 Age When Winning Grand Slams It was claimed Martina Navratilova first achieved Slam success at 21 and last achieved Slam success at 32 years of age which is actually INCORRECT. Navratilova was 33 years of age when she claimed a ninth singles title at Wimbledon in 1990.
