Betta 1.5 Inch Wide Men's Elastic Stretch Belt with Fully Adjustable High-Strength Buckle

I ordered numerous different plastic buckled belts, and this one (along with the Thomas Bates Bulldog belt) are the best… pretty much perfect! If you want stretch, go for this one, if not, choose the Bulldog.The belt material is a nice, very soft feeling webbing with the perfect amount of stretch. If you want soft comfiness, it's perfect. Also a perfect 1&1/2 inch width. For length, I am a size 30 waist and the size small I ordered was perfect, but I wouldn't have wanted it even an inch shorter, so beware to not order too small a size. You can always cut it and singe the end with a flame.The buckle is great and is indeed an improved (and wider) version of the standard "hiker belt" flip tab buckle. Though they both clamp totally securely, this one is much less vulnerable to breakage. A very smart subtle design change that can make all the difference between a usable and broken belt buckle.[Another option for a stretch belt is the Strait City Trading Co. men's stretch belt. There are some substantial differences though. First, the belt material of the Strait City's is MUCH stiffer edge to edge, AND less stretchy than the Betta belt. It has a very different feel, not only in your hand, but around your waist too; closer to a medium-stiff leather belt with a touch of stretch. It would be much better for carrying a few tools due to its stiffness. Second, the Straight City's buckle and end tab are metal, not plastic like I thought they would be. The buckle can, however, be easily removed and swapped out. (If you want to change it for the Betta buckle, you'll need to cut and re-sew, as the Betta's is permanently sewed to the belt). The Bulldog's belt buckle, also excellent and the same width, is easily removable and swappable without cutting/sewing.]In conclusion, the Betta is simply a great belt if you want a comfy stretch, plastic buckled belt. Worth the higher price, if that's what you're looking for!

Works great. I have tried other stretch belts and this is a very durable and great belt. Good stretch and it is easy to adjust the belt to get the best fit. I would highly recommend this product.

Think of this belt as a wide flat gentle bungee cord Very comfortable and adjustable. Lots of give, but you can cinch it up if you like. The buckle reminds me of the military type only nicely done in hard plastic. Mine needs to be trimmed shorter overall, but other comments say it can be cut and then carefully heated with flame to melt the cut end so it doesn't fray. Too new to comment on lasting power of the elastic and the buckle clips, but so far I like it a lot for comfort.

I needed an inner belt to fit under my duty belt at work. I've used standard leather and nylon belts in the past, but they would always cut into my waist when I was sitting or bending down. Now that I have this belt, all my other belts are collecting dust. Simply stated, this is the best belt I've ever owned. With a standard belt, I would have to over tighten it so it wouldn't fall down when I moved around. This would lead rashes and sometimes friction burns after a long day. With the BETTA belt, I can keep the tension comfortable, and the belt stretches and moves with me. I have a 46 inch waist, so I can tell you that this is a real blessing for all you bigger people out there.UPDATE: A year and a half later this belt is still going strong. I use it every day at work and the belt is STILL in like-new condition. The elastic has held up from overstretching and the buckle is still working with no damage. I read another review that mentioned the buckle digs into the belly which is true with all belts. That can't be helped, just pull the lip of you pants above the top of the belt. Hands down, the best belt ever for big guys.

This is a really different kind of belt. To me, it is secure, very stretchy, and runs a little big big i'd say. It's all nice really. Easy to unlatch once you get the hang of it (it took me a couple of days). So far so good with the exception of it beginning to fray with only two months of use. I see signs of wear and little fuzz balls (which I know I can just snip off). However, the fraying at the end of the belt is something I don't want to clip off. There needs to be some sort of better stitching or melting to secure this more and prevent it from happening.Maybe I got a dud, but to me, after just two months after use I shouldn't see this happening.

I have a number of pretty nice belts. But when I am wearing jeans or shorts, this is what I wear. The belt is nearly weightless. The material stretches but holds the belt and pants up. It flexes nicely. It's wide at 1 1/2" but due to the flexible and thin material it goes through belt loops easily. It feels like it should be flimsy, but it really isn't.It is not pretty. But it does the job, goes well in it's intended place and I would recommend it to anyone.

As a guy who hates wearing a belt and the feel of it, I can fully recommend this one for the most people. I was looking for a belt that is non-intrusive and has somewhat hold capability. This belt meets all my criteria perfectly. It streches very well but still holds my pants at desirable position. This belt also feels really comfortable in comparison to others I tried. But due to it's high elasticity, I wouldn't recommend this one for people who like wear things(tools) on the belt. Also the sizing chart was pretty accurate so no need to trim. Have been wearing this now for over a month and so far it's holding up well. Buckle snap still has no problems, easy to use. Very comfortable as a big guy compared to heavier leather belts that can dig in after 8+ hours of wearing them sitting down. Also worn this while travelling and nice going through metal detectors without having to remove the belt.

This BETTA (or BESTA as they are now known) elastic belt seems to be just what I was looking for at a reasonable price. I was sick of buying cheap, poorly fitting leather-effect belts that never seem to have the holes in comfortable places for sitting for long periods at a desk job. This belt on the other hand is smart enough for work and casual enough for leisure while being fully adjustable and flexible... it may be the last belt I ever buy if it proves to be durable!
