Thumbs Up...
There are 6 flavors, but they're visually similar so I only took pictures of 3 to show the contents. My 3 young cats love Tiki Cat. Proper hydration is important with cats so I "rinse" the can by swishing a little warm water, then pour that into the bowl to add more juice. The warm water also helps release the aromas for the cats. Mine love it and drink it up quickly. Cats can be finicky bc they like routine and food changes cause upset stomachs. If you've never bought Tiki Cat, as with all food changes, start with buying a few cans at a local pet supply store. I know PetCo carries it. Mix 3/4 of the old canned food with 1/4 TC. I'd suggest sticking with flavors that are the same/similar bc mixing Turkey Fancy Feast with Sardine TC might not create a smell that's appealing to your cat. Slowly increase the amount of TC in the mix over the next few days to a week until the food is switched over. Older cats might take longer to accept the new food so adjust the amount of TC added based on your cat. Not only will this help make the transition easier for you, it makes it easier for your cat. If they like it, buy the box of 12. If not, you didn't spend much. If food changes aren't done gradually, it can cause gas, bloating, diarrhea, etc. That's no bueno. You can't blame them for not wanting a new food right off the bat. Keep in mind that cats have taste and texture preferences just like we do. There's no guarantee the switch will work. However, the gradual introduction will increase the likelihood of success. If the gradual change over doesn't work, don't let that deter you from trying other healthier brands for your cat. It also doesn't warrant giving TC a bad review. They held up their end of the bargain and sent you the product you asked for. It's not their fault you didn't take the time to properly introduce the food and/or your cat didn't want to eat it. Be reasonable.

Good for cats with stones, and some cats with ingredient intolerance
What I like: high in protein, lean meat, no fish (fish is a controversial food for cats, so to be safe I don't give it to mine), grain and potato free. What I don't like: price and long ingredient list. I am breaking up my review into a few parts, and you can read whatever is important to you. The 2nd paragraph is specific to my cat who had bladder stones, the 3rd paragraph is about my two cats with intolerance to certain ingredients, and the last paragraph is my final thoughts. DISCLAIMER: I am not a veterinarian, so keep that in mind.I bought this specific brand and flavor for my male cat Zeke after he developed and passed bladder stones. There are two types of stones- one can dissolve if the cat is fed the right kind of food, and one requires surgery. The vet recommended a prescription diet to see if the stones would dissolve without the need for surgery. Luckily they did. The vet told me that Zeke would have to stay on the prescription diet for life to ensure the stones wouldn't come back. This made me upset, because if you look at the ingredient list on the prescription food, it's pretty bad. So I decided to self educate. What I read (again, disclaimer that I am not a vet), is that a prescription diet has no actual prescription. It's not medicated. What makes prescription diets special and why vets recommend them is that they carefully control percentages of ingredients, proteins, minerals, and vitamins. The recommended percentages for felines with stones is pet food that has a high water content (no dry food), has a phosphorus level under .5% , a protein level of around 35%, and a sodium level of .2% or less. I kept Zeke on the prescription diet for 3 months, and then I made the conscious choice to take him off of it. I still keep a case of prescription diet on hand just in case I notice his symptoms coming back, but it's been a year now, and he has done well on the Puka Puka Luau. I chose this brand and flavor because it blended the needs of 2 of my cats. It is low in phosphorus and sodium for Zeke with his stone issue (both levels under 1%), but very high in protein for my cat with intolerance to certain ingredients (82%). It's been a year now, and Zeke has not had a recurrence of stones. I emphasize that I made a personal and informed decision to take my cat off of the prescription diet. Do your own research and consult with your vet. Stones can be deadly to your cat, so I don't want to be held responsible by anyone who decides to switch their cat to this food based off of my review. I did what I felt was right for my cat, but I kept in contact with the vet as I did this, and I kept the prescription food on hand as a failsafe.I have two cats who are litter mates- the male is Rowan and the female is Freya. They both have grain and starch intolerance, as well as additional intolerance to some elusive ingredient(s) that I can't figure out. They are also both obese. Freya's intolerance has always been worse than Rowan's. This brand and flavor doesn't work for Freya, who has soft stool and gas when I tried her on the Puka Puka Luau. Rowan does very well on this flavor. With a cat that has intolerance to certain foods, a limited ingredient diet is best. There are way more ingredients in the Puka Puka Luau than I am happy with, but for Rowan at least, it works. He has also slimmed down a very little bit because this food is high in protein and low in carbs. He'd probably slim down even more if I could get him to move, but his idea of playtime is to lay down and nuzzle toys. He goes away to pout if I try to make him chase his toys. Freya, unfortunately, has to remain on her old food and is still extra chubby despite the fact that I don't overfeed her. Conclusion: this food is about as good as canned food can get. It's a great option for cat owners who want to feed their pets well, and who can afford the crazy price of healthy food. For me personally, price has been really hard on my wallet. Once I move to my new apartment, I won't have neighbors on either side of me to complain about noise. I am buying a meat grinder and will go off of a vet recommended recipe for homemade raw cat food. For anyone who got to the end of this review, please do extensive research before switching to homemade. Lack of research and vet consultation can lead to homemade food that will harm your pet.

THERE WERE MEALWORMS IN THE PACKAGE!
I bought this food because it looked healthy and good for my kitten, and I was happy with the first two cans until I started to smell something. When I took more cans out of the package, the smell got worse and I saw the mealworms wiggling around and the larva surrounding the last six cans - several of them were burst open. You can see in the picture how gross it was, although it doesn’t give you a sense of the awful smell. This is not inexpensive cat food, and I want my money back because of the dangerous health violations in the package. THOSE MEALWORMS WERE IN MY KITCHEN! It was beyond disgusting. If the company doesn’t give me my money back I will be very upset.UPDATE: I reached out to Tiki Pet Food on their website, and when I told them what happened they offered to either give me my money back or send me a replacement. The replacement that they sent was perfectly clean without damage, so they did a good job of fixing their mistakes. I’m giving them an extra two stars for helping me out once I told them what happened.

Fragile cans can't take normal handling
I ordered this brand plus a few others that were all recommended for diabetic cats. When the box with all four was delivered today, the driver warned me there was a damp patch on one side. I found there was also a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the box (which appeared to be undamaged except for the oily soft spot I'd been warned about). I found the three other cases of food in good shape except for a few oily-feeling labels, but the Tikicat cans were crumpled, with edges split open and spoiled food spilling out. The packing and delivery were not to blame because all the other cans and the container box were fine. The smell of rotting fish and poultry was so strong I immediately scraped everything I could into an organic waste bag and thoroughly washed out the buckled cans, without pausing to take a photo of them. Obviously I'm not able to return them -- Canada Post wouldn't appreciate that very much! Since the brand was so highly praised, I may buy a few single cans and try them, but not a case, mixed with other items in the same box. I don't know what the Tikicat cans are made of, but in attempting to straighten them out a bit to clean off the food bits for recycling, they bent and crumpled more in my not-very-strong, arthritic hands. I'm giving one star for the food since I had no chance to judge it in its fresh state. The cans? No stars at all, I'm afraid.

Visible fish bones. Not too happy.
I read good things about this brand and this was my first Tiki product ("Luau" 12-pack).Unfortunately, fish bones were visible throughout the second can I opened (sea bass). They were fine, brittle and broke into small shards -- POSSIBLY harmless, but I wish they had been processed more finely into the meat itself. I just don't feel comfortable feeding my cat visible bones, because of the risk they may cause harm.Just letting others know so they can make their own decisions. This pricy line might have some better options - a pate perhaps.

Not Good😣
This cat food has a fairly good ingredient list. Unfortunately, it is very watery, with not much actual "meat" based on the order I received. 😣The case also contained several dented tins which were probably due to poor packaging. Amazon " made things right" but it was still a disappointment. I hate throwing out any food, even pet food but that's all I can do with these cans now.Would not recommend or order again.😣

The Best Cat Food
This wet food checks all the boxes: 100% fresh and natural ingredients, zero fillers, very full cans, a wide selection of fish and meat, and most importantly my cats are OBSESSED with it! The cute, colorful packaging is also a fun little bonus ;)Tiki Cat wet food helps my kitties stay well hydrated and makes their fur soft and shiny. I also noticed they get a lot less eye "boogers". Delivery was quick and the cans were well packaged and in perfect condition. The quality is WELL worth the price. They definitely have a customer for life!

Cats dont like it, poor packaging and expensive
The package was sent in an enveloppe, not an amazon box, so all the cans were damaged and the package open. The food itself is not really good and if it stays in the fridge, cats wont eat it. So i am really disappointed as it is too pricey...
