I put one of these outside by the cars, at the back of the house. As soon as I step off of the porch the lights come on. They are bright and adjustable. So I have one pointing to the front gate, and one to the cars. If there was anyone, or anything near the cars or drive the lights would come on and alert me to movement. The 4 D batteries lasted about a year, and the light comes on everyday several times. I just bought a second one for my basement stairs. When I get to the 4th step the lights automatically come on and light up everything. I saved a fortune not have to hire and electrician to repair the old lights.

I love that I can come home at night and the light will come on for me. I liked it so much, I bought another one for my front porch. Great investment and much cheaper than hiring an electrician. I was worried that it would not last over the winter because it runs on 4 D batteries, but that has not been an issue. Great value, great performance.

For occasional use a battery operated safety light is best, I don't have to splice wires and drill a hole through any structure. The light turns on as soon as it detects motion and the intensity is good enough to light up path and steps near-by. Somehow the "extended" option where the light stays on for 45 sec at 20% intensity (if I recall correctly) didn't work, but I don't really need this, as long long it turns on and off after 12 sec I'm fine with this.

Motion detection seems to be about 25 to 30 feet. Lights are bright and illuminate a significant area.They are very easy to install although it would be good if the batteries were a little tighter. Overall an excellent product. It will we interesting to see how long the batteries last.

I have another lamp like this one and it is really bright. I ordered this one for another place in my yard near the front of my storage room. It will make it easy for me to see the key to unlock the lock after dark. I have various lights around my house. When the heat is as bad as it is now, I work in my yard in the evening and sometimes until 10:00 p.m. It also provides additional light to deter anyone from coming into the yard. My neighbors like the light because it covers some of their yards, too. Motion detector works really well. Highly recommended.

Originally planned to use these lights outside near pool equipment. Went another direction for that project. I recently “rediscovered” them and repurposed them for improved shed lighting. They work perfectly. Motion sensing is responsive and the light sensitivity for activation is user definable. That’s perfect for our application since our shed has “skylights” that add just enough light to fool the factory preset. Adjustment is easy. Also very easy to assemble and adaptable to infinite jury-rigged installations.

The light is easy to install and works properly. The motion detection feature is very sensitive. My only disappointment is that the lights are not as bright as I expected.. perhaps my expectations were too high for a battery powered light. Otherwise, the light is as advertised..

Been a little busy this time of year. But, I need to write a review on this product. I bought 2 of them on 11/26/2019. Received them on 11/27. Thank you again Amazon. I installed them both right away. Easy installation. Had them both up in an hour. Cause I'm handy. I love these lights. The sensor will pick up around 26 feet away. Stays on for 15 seconds. Then goes off. I can set it for longer but since the battery power and I want them to go out this soon as possible they will stay on if I stand there or just move my arm to make them go on. I put one above a garage Elsa put wine on the porch because I had to a calendar the other day walking around the front of the house. I have security cameras but these did fit the bill for me I am going to order two more for the sides of the house. I just wanted to say that this company did really good with putting 4D batteries on them. Make sure you get the lithium d batteries from Amazon because they were last a lot longer providing how much they come on and off. I just want to give this product 6 stars so far I've only had them up for 8 hours. So far so good to me I will definitely promote these to my customers as well. I like these low profile LED security lights a lot. I definitely would recommend these
