A reqlly good way to make a beautiful quilt.
My granddaughter , who is 11, and I are using the cover pattern to refurbish a quilt that my mother made for me years ago. That quilt is blues, greens and other soft colors. The fabric that we are using is blue floral print and a coordinating floral print of lighter blue and greenish yellows to make a border all around that will cover front and back of the quilt and some of the darker blue to make those curved diamonds to cover worn areas on both sides of the quilt. I really like this book because it is easy to follow, simple instructions and layouts and has the yardages included. My favorite pattern is the cover pattern and when I am done refurbishing my quilt I will follow the designs of this pattern and use Asian prints. Just love this particular pattern. It lends itself to using leftover fabric, mix and match fabrics or buy what you like. I am an experienced quilter but I think it is a good book for beginner quilters as most of the quilts use large blocks to make the quilt. The quilt on the cover lends itself to using smaller strips to build a block. Actually that could happen with the large blocks as well. I like the idea of 3 seam squares, it does make it quicker to assemble. I recommend this book..

Quilters rejoice! The easy and fast blocks are here.
This book makes block making easy for any skill level. With less cutting & sewing I can have a quilt is no time. There are many variations of block placements and also a simple ways to modify the block itself so you wont get board. Works very well with precut fabrics . So glad I can perfect my quilting skills with this simple block idea.

Wow! What a concept!
I first saw the 10 Minute You Tube Video, by Suzanne McNeill, and was hooked! I ordered the book, it's great because it already has the fabric quantites you need to make your own. What a time saver. I had never machine quilted before, and I started an afghan size last weekend, and are almost finished! Once the material was cut, I had the six blocks done in about an hour! Lesson learned: On seam #3, use pins, and align the center seam of the center block and work your way outward. I found it easier to set the block in my lap for this step, rather than laying it out on a flat surface. She shows how to use different fabrics and placement of the blocks for greatly different looks! I'll be using this one for years to come! Thanks Suzanne!

An initial learning curve but then you’re fine
I like the cute quilts in this book and the easy to follow directions thought you have to make the first one before it become a ten minute project, if then. What I liked least was the black and white directions which did cause a bit of confusion in the beginning but after the initial confusion they were rather easy to follow.

10 Minutes of Fun
The 10 Minute quilt blocks are fun and oh, so easy. This book is wonderful for a beginner or an experienced quilter. An experienced quilter can whip up the blocks and have a quilt top in less than a day. A beginner can use this to create their first quilt and not feel overwhelmed. The instructions are clear and the photographs are very helpful for visual people. I would recommend this book for any quilter, especially a beginner who has put off learning to quilt because most quilt blocks require you to constantly match seams. With this block, it really doesn't matter if the center seam if off a bit as the center block, which makes the impact, will cover the flaws.

Great Quilting Book - Simple
I've been quilting for 30 years but when trying a new technique it still can be like I'm new. This book explains everything in simple steps and if you're in need, there are you tube videos I've gone and watched prior to purchasing the book to view. Sometimes it is the visual and auditory that make it click. I'd buy this book again.
