EZ to install
Got it for my Henry 22. Quick and easy install and sight in. Helps with less than perfect eyesight.

Faster sight acquisition
I shimmed the front sight up with a few layers of painter tape because it wouldn’t stay still. That is not the fault of the product, it’s that my Henry H001 must be different from the barrel on an older version. Easy fix, not worth returning and trying to track down the correct product. The sights are not very attractive on such a classic looking gun if you ask me, but this is a workhorse gun for me, not a safe queen. These Hi Viz sights are so much faster to pick up than the stock Henry sights. I shoot in the woods - if I was shooting against a lighter colored background the stock sights would have been fine.

Does not fit Henry H001 rifle
Here is my experience. I purchased this sight for a newer Henry H001 .22 rifle. When I received it I was glad to see the Henry logo on the package and H001 was listed as a rifle it fit. I knocked the original Henry rear sight out of the dove tail. This was a very snug fit and required a bit of care and time to get it out. I slid the new rear sight in place. I found it to be extremely loose in the dovetail. I actually thought it may be pushed out of the top of the barrel if I tightened the set screw. I attempted to tighten the set screw and I looked at the gun from the side. There is a large gap between the base of the dovetail and the base of the sight. You could literally look through to the other side. After seeing this poor fit I knew I was not going to use the rear sight. I decided that I would try and use the front sight as it appeared to be a bit taller and had a fiber optic rod. The front sight does not come with mounting hardware. You are supposed to use the mounting screw that holds the original front sight in place. I removed the original front sight and used the original screw to attached the new sight. After screwing it all the way in the front sight rattled on the barrel. It was impossible to get the front sight tightened with the original screw.I am very surprised more Henry owners have not commented on the way this sight fits. It is a poor fit and does not belong on a piece of art like a Henry.

disappointed
I was pretty excited to install these sights on my Henry .22 lever rifle.During installation I noticed the radius of the front sight is slightly different then the radius of the gun barrel. And as others complained, it includes no hardware for the installation, and the screw from the factory sight is too long.. After trying several different options as washers and spacer combinations it was clear to me that no matter what I used, the sight was still able to move around on the barrel due to the larger radius of the front sight..The rear sight fit well inside the dovetail of the rifle, and adjusted very easily, that part was well done. And the fiber optics are very nice and have an excellent field of view.In conclusion, I would’ve been happy just to have the front sight alone but since I was unable to secure it right to the barrel I removed both sights and reinstalled the factor ones.Pretty disappointing overall

Good quality
Big improvement for old eyes. Front sight screw is too long for the new sight. Rear sight should have come with an adjusting tool. Most people don't have a tool that small.

Specific product, best and easiest place to obtain for Canadians with Henry rifles.
Exactly what I expected. The Henry website doesn't ship to Canada, so I went to Amazon. If you have one of the Henry rifles that this is made for, it is worth the upgrade. Easy to install comes with a couple different colours that you can swap out (green, red & blue)

Improvement over stock
Improvement over stock Henry sights. Aiming point too large, covers target. Would buy again.
