I wanted to try out this pattern book because how freaking cute are the animals on the cover? I also watched the product video and watched the thumb through of the other cute plushies you can make, and I was sold.When the book arrived I was nervous because the patterns are all in "UK" termonology and sizes etc. But this ended up not being a problem at all. The patterns are so easy to follow, the writing is concise and the instructions are very plain and straight forward. No guess work required. I do not have a lot of skills/ knowledge in crochet- I have only been crocheting for about 5 months, but I was able to follow these patterns!I went ahead and bought her other two books as well- the woodland creatures and the adorable creatures part 2 book. I am in love! Erinna Lee is a magnificent writer of patterns!!

I'm a crocheter for over 50 years. The Amigurumi/Plush toys I make are loved by family and friends and donated to charities. This books designs were the best (Erinna Lee is wonder), the written instructions are clear and accurate, the photographs are clear and add to the stitch tool box. I loved this book so much, I bought the next book "Amigurumi Treasures 2" immediately. Thank You

I am a beginner and I very much enjoyed making Ming. The pattern was pretty easy to follow, and when I got stuck I would trouble shoot to see to how others handle it. I love this book, they are so cute. My plan is to make one for all my grandchildren. I have started my second Ming. Then onto one of the other patterns.

I LOVE this crocheter! The instructions are fantastic and the animal designs are so cute! I've purchased all of this authors books because of how amazing they are. I'm a fairly new crocheter, but I feel like I've learned a lot following these books. So proud of my creations! Please make more patterns/books!!

I bought all the books I could find on Amazon from this author and happy with every single one. Every single design is adorable and the instructions are detailed and clear with photo references. Extremely well done patterns. And material references, as well as stitch tutorials if needed.

It's a well thought out book. I have all 3 of Erinna's books and each one is very clear, has qr codes for instructional videos and mix and match accessories for all the toys. If you are interested yet unsure she has some free patterns on her website to test out. I did before I bought the book. She list the yarn used for each one however if you are in America all her yarn is only available in Europe for purchase. She uses krea deluxe cotton and this particular book uses dmc natura and that is comparable to hobbii rainbow 8/4. Very enjoyable

The characters are adorable. Her instructions are very good, with QR codes accompanying the technique how-to s to view videos of them. Lots of photos, and the instructions for the projects seemed to be pretty clear. I have crochet experience, but just one amigurumi project under my belt. I am doing amigurumi as a hobby, to relax and enjoy it and honestly, reading through these patterns they are just SO intricate with so many extra pieces. Even without the extra (optional) detail pieces, heads, shoes, feet, all have inner/over/trim pieces. I felt actually making these would be too frustrating. If you are experienced and patient, this book does have really cute projects.
