The Saga of Tanya the Evil, Vol. 6: Nil Admirari

The different side of war the history books usually don't let you see. I love the descriptions of not only the nations fatigue from war, but keeps the war from stopping.

I watched the anime and simply had to read the light novels. I've never been super into military stuff, so it was a struggle through the first volume to pace myself with a military fiction. But now, now I'm able to fly right through the volumes. The author has done a fantastic amount of work in world building, in researching historical facts of our history to build this parallel story, and balancing every character appropriately.

If you enjoyed the previous novels, you'll continue to enjoy this one.We finally get to see what the Empires ally, the Ildoans, have been up to all this time as the Empire continues to be beset upon all sides. The eastern front stabilizes but new dangers appear in the North and West. As usual Tanya and co are sent to save the day.

Following the other books, this one seemed to have went by pretty quick, at first glance not much has happened, but the characters have really started to express themselves more openly to the others in the novel.

Lets all be honest here, if you have read the last 5 volumes of the Saga of Tanya, they you will love this one just as much as the rest of them. Cant wait for the next one to be translated and released.

The story is slowing down a bit, but it’s the calm before the storm, in my opinion. As I believe things are going to hear back up in the next book in a big way!

Feels like a climax of sort is being reached. If you liked the other you are probably going to enjoy this one as well.

Not as good as the other five but still pretty good can't wait for the 7th volume

Didn’t think I caught up when I finished the last novel. As usually I really love the series and am awaiting the future release in fall

Tanya drinks coffee and that's about it. This was a side or world building volume that focussed everywhere but on where the title character was. I hesitate to call it pure filler with all the setup that was done but I hope that the author has gotten past this clog and can return to form in volume 7.
