The paper in these sketch pads is high quality with just enough tooth to work well for pencils, and various ink drawing tools, like ballpoint pens, markers and fountain pens. One can add a small amount of watercolor or an opaque pigment like acrylic, gouache or poster paint, but the paper tends to buckle if too much water is used. The paper worked wonderfully for drawing with F (#2.5) and HB (#2) graphite pencils with color pencil worked into the B&W drawings. I like spiral bound sketchpads because the sheets lay flat and are easy to remove. I think they are priced fairly considering the paper quality, although they aren't the cheapest pads around.

How does this product get any 5 star reviews? The paper quality is worse than you’d typical A4 paper you use for printing, worse than the average notebook. If you press any harder than a light hand shading technique, it indents the next few pages.

Was sent sketchbooks that are bound on the left side not on the top as advertised. My daughter is left handed & can't draw properly with a spiral on her hand while drawing as to why I purchased the top bound....False Advertising.

I returned the product because the paper are really thin.I can get a child's sketchbook in the grocery for 4 bucks. The paper has better quality than this.Paper inside feels like regular note book sheets. Also, the note book came with some sheets folded which left folding lines on the sheets. It was disappointing.

My daughter needed a sketch book for her online classes . Another sketch book was recommended but this is the closest sketch book to it . Will buy from seller again . As Describe

How this Sketch Pad has a 4.6 stars is beyond me! Super thin paper, no different, if not thinner than regular A4 printing paper. Do not buy this, I do not recommend.

Hood drawing paper. Harder cover would be helpful. But overall pretty good. Liked the smaller sheet count per pack. Easier to travel with.
