Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit 5" Flat-Front Comfort Stretch Chino Short (Previously Goodthreads)

Love this shorts, I bought them a little bit reluctant, about size. THEY ARE TRUE TO SIZE, super comfortable and also resistant.

Way to go, Amazon Essentials. Finally, a casual short that can be dressed up or down that doesn't show my butt cheeks nor go down to mid-calf like my grandmother's culottes. The length is spot on—not too short nor too long. I'm 5'8" and not as skinny as I used to be, but I'm still sporting these "lucky legs." Yes, they're so skinny I'm lucky they don't snap and stab me in the rear. Anyway, long shorts on these precious toothpicks do not look good at all. However, shorts at this length make my legs appear healthy rather than like they've just survived a marathon. Thank you, Amazon, for restoring some dignity to my legs. Now I'm the lucky one. The fabric is extremely nice, with the perfect amount of stretch. People have mentioned wrinkle issues and the need to iron, but I'm betting promptly removing them from the dryer and a spray of wrinkle release will be sufficient. The blue pair arrives tomorrow, and I will probably get them in every color. Thanks again. Love them!

Larger waist for size. Thinner material than premium. Lasted a season so far. Good value.

Sizing was right on. I don't usually buy shorts this short but these are great for the hotter Florida summer weather.

comfy, keeps color, but looks really cheap and creased after a wear or two. the cheap seam at bottom of leg gets crushed up and creased after first wear, have to iron.

Shorts fit great! Material does get wrinkled easier than others. It also picks up things like pet fur pretty easy as well. Nothing a lint roller can't solve!

Size: These run a little big, even after slight shrinking after a wash. Compared to Good Threads standard fit shorts (not the slim fit), I did have to size up. I get the 32 in the normal and 33 in the slim fit. Even in the 33s, this is very comfortable fit for me, however, in other brands like Banana Republic, Bonobos, etc, a 33 would be much tighter in the waist.I am a lazy laundry person and I refuse to iron shorts -- that said, these are the perfect length for me when pressed. After a wash and putting on from the dryer, they are a little shorter because the fabric has shrunk and wrinkled a bit -- and almost has a texture which over the length makes the shorts shorter -- and since I don't press them, I modified them. The leg openings are larger than normal and flare out a little -- too much for my taste. Also modified this.Because of the shrinking in length (and my laziness to iron) and the flaring of the opening, I unhemmed the leg openings, brought in the inseam, and increased the length by about 1/2 inch. Now, after washing and wrinkled, they are the same length as shorts that are pressed (or new before wash). And now they're perfect.
