Back in love with my XPS-13
The laptop is fantastic but the battery life was really becoming a big problem. I could go to a meeting without my charger. Dell didn't did anything since it was out of warranty. This was a small price to pay to have long battery life again. I'm now re-in-love with my laptop. It was an easy change and worth the expense.

Easy to install, IF you have the right tools to do it
I found out that Dell uses a weird star-shaped screw head in its laptop cases, so I couldn't open it up to install the new battery myself; I ended up taking it to the Geek Squad at BestBuy to have it installed, which cost me another $45.00, even though it only took the technician with the correct screwdriver about 5 or 10 minutes to swap out the spent battery for this new one.So far, the battery holds a charge well. I was glad that it came from the factory partially charged, so at BestBuy the computer could be powered on immediately to let us know the battery was working.

Battery was great, until it swelled
This battery has performed flawlessly for 2.5 years. Today I noticed by Keybarod was building, and so we the back panel. I pulled out the battery and it is swelling. Is this warrantied?

Fixed my issues and they stand by their warranty
Replacement battery installation was fine, worked well post installation. However, here I am 8 months later with a battery failure again. Trying to track down company for warranty. Will update based on outcome.Update: The seller promptly stood up to their warranty and replaced the failed battery. The new batter fit perfectly and fixed my issue. I hope this replacement lasts longer than the first one, but I respect the seller for standing behind their 1 year warranty and sending a replacement immediately.

Battery swelled up after less than 6 months, Vendor was very responsive.
The first battery lasted only about 6 months. The vendor was very responsive to getting me a new one.At this point this is my backup battery since I decided to buy a Dell OEM replacement since the original OEM one lasted longer.

Fits the Del well, indisinguishable from the original battery in use
Restored (at least) all the original battery life to our XPS. It was easy to install and show no signs of any charging or discharging problems. Very happy!
