Naturtint Permanent Hair Colour, 5C Light Copperish Chestnut

One of the best in the market I went two colours form fro my L’Oréal majerel to use this example I was a salon 10 used 8 in this to darken my roots a bit but it’s still blonde

Minimal itchy scalp. The colour is darker than I expected

I've used this brand before and really loved it, but in the intervening years, I've bleached my hair repeatedly. From dark brown to white blonde, to blue, to white, to red, back to white, to blue again, then blonde, then grey, then lilac....in short succession...I don't actually know how I'm not bald. My hair grows really fast, but it's so trashed it snaps off at the ends faster than it's growing out at the roots. I've spent the past 4 months debating what to do about my abused hair, and yesterday had the late night ADHD impulse to try a more natural colour, because I just cba with the bleaching (I go into anaphylaxis every time I forget to take antihistamines 😂 -which outlines exactly how reckless I get with my hair), and I want to try to get my it in better condition, and for it to grow longer...so prior to dying with naturtint we had 3 inch roots (mainly dark brown with pure white badger stripes at my temples), dark lilac permanent dye in a 2 inch band below the regrowth, and a mix of lilac and silver through the lengths, down to my shoulders...absolute filth! I was just hoping the first application would go some way to covering up the horrors, and expected I'd need another coat in a few days but it's completely evened all the different tones and colours out. I didn't use a colour stripper beforehand and it's a pretty spot on match to the colour on the packaging(dark ash blonde)...and while I'm going to have to grow out the trashed ends, because nothing on earth can save them, they are still definitely in the best condition they've been in, in a very long time. Would recommend 👌

Good product but a bit pricey

I am more than pleased with my first purchase of Naturtint Hair Colour, from all the products I researched this appeared the kindest for my newly grown and sensitive hair after chemotherapy. I lost my hair completely and waited patiently for it to grow back to a point that I could colour it. It had returned almost completely grey, dry and brittle. I was very apprehensive about what product to use so as not to further damage the hair but definitely wanted to use something because as it was, it was making me feel old before my time and after going through all that horrendous and at times brutal treatment which gives your body image the ultimate battering, I wanted at least some of my confidence, sparkle and glow back. This product did the trick, my hair may be short but the resulting colour (4M/Mahogany Chestnut) was so vibrant and luscious and made me smile the biggest smile upon looking in the mirror. It is such a deep and rich shade and I wasn't expecting that from something free of harsh chemicals and made with 99% natural ingredients, I was dubious as to whether it would cover the strong and stubborn grey but it absolutely did! Application was a breeze, I mixed only half the mixture to a ratio of 1:1 in a separate applicator bottle and it was more than enough for my short hair so I have enough for another session when the need arises. It was gentle on my scalp and so nourishing on my hair, after just one application , not only was my hair a gorgeous colour it was soft, smooth and conditioned. The after colour quinoa conditioner mask included is integral to the whole colouring process and for a perfect finish so definitely not a step to be skipped and the generous amount means it can be used a good few times afterwards to keep your colour looking it's best. Naturtint may well be a little on the pricey side compared to some others on the market but I will 100% be purchasing again because to me it was worth every penny, it was kind and gentle on my 'new' hair which had grown back in a sad and sorry state. It has not only given my hair new colour but also a new lease of life. The fact I can get two applications from the one pack whilst my hair is still only short is a welcome bonus but when it grows longer (fingers crossed) and needs the entire contents to suffice, I will still be more than happy to purchase because it is a superior, vegan product of exceptional standard, enriched with organic oils and natural ingredients and my hair is most definitely worth it, as am I! Definitely easier on the pocket than a trip to the salon. So many stunning colours to choose from is a joy and I may well experiment in the future but for now this is my perfect shade. I would post a photo but my confidence isn't quite there yet, hopefully soon.Thank you Naturtint for a remarkable product.

Update II: I did some color mixing and came up with a nice medium ash brown. I checked out the Nutratint website with instructions on creating your own shade. So I poured out 10ml of both the tint and the white cream developer from the Dark Ash 6A bottles and added it to the Light Ash Blonde 8A bottle. The result was a nice medium ash brown. The color is very pretty and looks like a salon custom color. The conditioner that comes with the color is light and makes my hair feel healthier. Great product.***************Update I: I started with the Dark Ash 6A, which was too dark (my bad...it matched the color on the box exactly). However, I wanted to see how long the color would stay in my hair. I must say that I am really impressed. The color did lighten but did not become brassy or faded. In fact, my roots grew out so far that I finally had to color again. Truly the best color I've used....including L'Oreal. My only suggestion is to add more Ash colors to the shade offerings. The 6A is too dark, and the 8A too light. May have to mix my own shade.***************I chose the Dark Ash Blonde 6A color thinking that I would get a lighter brown outcome without the reds and golds that you get with other hair color. The darkness of the color matched the box but it still has more red and gold than I would like. It went on a little darker than I'd like, but it will lighten up. I just colored my hair, so will update about longevity of the color.Pros: No toxic smell. This product has more of an "herbal" scent. Healthier choice. Comes with a conditioner. No strong after-scent left in hair. The conditioner is light and leaves hair soft.Cons: Gloves do not fit well and are flimsy (leaving a few finger nails stained)This product has a thick, more "jelly" consistency, so it is difficult to squeeze it out of the small hole in the applicator. I finally just took the cap off, squeezed a blob into my hands and "shampooed" it into my hair.After using the same hair color brand for years, I am impressed with this product and look forward to trying other colors.

I was afraid to color my hair since the last time I had a bad reaction and my hair started falling out. I bought this due to it having no chemical. It’s gentle, non irritating and cover grays 100%!
