Perfect.
Just what I wanted for a cig adapter. There is a sticker on the tube it comes with but if your not sure, the Long end plastic covering the metal (female) of the Sae is (+) and the exposed side you see metal (male) is the (-).I got this with the mind of using a charge controller and small solar panel while its in my car to help keep the battery charged this winter so I don't have a dead battery. I don't drive my car much specially in the winter so I need to keep the battery healthy.

Not just for cars - I use it with a portable jumpstarter
I use this with my either my Optimate 6 or my Optimate 2 to make it easy to charge my Stanley jump-starter pack with air compressor.My jumpstarter has it's own internal charger, but I prefer to know the battery is getting an even better and smarter charge than what comes with the jumper, and when the Optimate 2 isn't doing other chores, I'll use it with this adapter for long term maintenance on the jumpstarter.

Fits 1999 BMW R1100S Accessory Socket
Charging through the accessory socket, if you have it, is the easiest way to charge the battery on the 1999 BMW R1100S. This connector fits perfectly if you remove the red adaptor. Fit and finish are good on both the ends and the cable.
