Excellent! I usually prefer bamboo needles, but trued this and like it. Point is just right, and yearn slips smoothly.

Purchased to knit a beanie in the round because I just didn't want to deal with Magic Loop for an entire beanie and I wanted to test-drive Chia-goo Red Lace Needles before investing. I also ordered 16" bamboo needles to include in my test run. The Chia-Goo needles are very light weight and the cord doesn't seem to have memory, so I'm not experiencing that annoying bowing & twisting of the cord,as with some other brands. The tips are sufficiently sharp that I don't split the yarn, as with some other brands. Would definitely recommend.

ChiaoGoo circular needles are my very favorite needles to knit on. I use them on almost everything now, and use two in same size on tight circumference items (versus magic loop). Slowly but surely, I'm collecting at least one in every size, sometimes two. No cable twisting, smooth action, an investment but also worth every penny!

These are very smooth and exactly as described. Perfect to knit with. The cable is perfect, never twisting.

These needles are awesome, the cable is magic somehow it never gets twisted or warped like my others, only complaint is that the needle is a little too sharp for my taste, i use my thumb/knuckle to push down my needles while knitting and using these it starts to really hurt after a while. If you like sharp needles though get these immedietly!

chiao goo red lace needles are my favorite circular needles because of the cords alone- they have absolutely no memory, making them ready to use directly out of the package. no fuss required for magic loop, and no frustrating spring back or distortion when using delicate yarn. the stainless steel needles also easily enter stitches, regardless of yarn weight. the needles may be a bit slick for absolute beginners, but i highly recommend getting a 16" at least to see if you like the cord, needle feel, and weight: plus, you'll be able to knit most hats super easily.
