Prettiest copper I've ever used
The "copperplate" mica powder is gorgeous! For the attached image I dusted the mold with foot powder (resin casting technique to prevent surface bubbles) which made the surface of the cast with a matte finish. This mica powder is anything but matte - unaltered it has a brilliant glow, like a brand new penny. I recently purchased the "knight" color that I'm looking forward to testing out. A little bit goes a long way also. A little bit goes a long way, I mix a teaspoon (roughly) of this powder in 1/2 cup (roughly) of resin to get these results. It's important to also be mentioned that this isn't true copper, so the patina/oxidation you see happening on its surface is from me airbrushing a teal color on the surface. This product does not do that on its own.

Great pigment for all uses
Iโve used this pigment in resin, and for painting. Painting is definitely the most impressive, and gives people a real wow factor to it. The most prominent example I have are these hands I painted, as it was a true test of its versatility. I literally took modge-podge, and mixed it up with the pigment, and it still gave the beautifully stunning, uniform look.Definitely recommend, even when I purposefully tried to clump it up in certain areas, there were no โfold linesโ like in most other mica pigments. Two separate pictures, one in low lighting, and the other with light on it. Shows the contrast perfectly.

Powdered pigment
I've only had a chance to use the powdered pigment once. I bought it with the intention to color an epoxy resin. I used it and im happy with the outcome. When I run out, im going buy some more.

This reflects so much light that it literally has a halo
Ok. I do not often immediately leave reviews. But. This is such an incredible color that I had to. I was trying to cast a unicorn horn for a costume prop cup, and I used a few tablespoons of this pigment and no others. This cast is a failure due to my own error in judgement on casting weather conditions but I am going to turn it into a costume horn because even as a failure it turned out beautiful. The color is spectacular. This is the only pigment I used mixed with food safe clear epoxy. It literally glows. It does not figuratively glow. It literally glows in camera. I do not mean it has phosphorescent properties, I mean it reflects so much light you can see a halo that, while subtle, can be captured in camera in a normally lit room. Wild.I am floored at how perfect this was for my project. It's not super inexpensive as a craft supply, but clearly you get what you pay for. I would buy it again without hesitation if needed.

Beutiful
Amazing color, easy to mix in epoxy and it doesn't clump.

Glass separator
I used the mica powder to keep fused glass from sticking to a mold fired in a kiln at 1450 degrees. The mica was applied by dusting very lightly over the mold and using my gloved hand to rub it into indentations. I wore a respirator, and was careful of ventilation. The mica left a lovely shine.

Beautiful colour
I swear by this mica powder.I thought it was a little pricey when I first purchased but itโs absolutely worth it.It had a beautiful pearlescent colour and you only need the smallest amount to do the trick.Very happy with this purchase.
