Math Minutes
Absolutely love the Minutes series. I was introduced to the Math Minutes last school year because my child's 2nd grade teacher used reproductions for math homework. They are quick and reenforcing. Great for reviewing and introducing next grade level over summer break or supporting current lessons with children that are easily distracted. I purchased both the Math and Grammar Minutes for next grade level and my child whips through them building confidence. Just a note to those who are unfamiliar with the Minutes series, the worksheets do not offer centered lessons nor questions; the worksheets consist of quick, diversified problems in black and white format with no bells and whistles. The worksheets basically support what a child already knows, or identifies what a child needs further support with. For lack of a better description, the worksheets are like simple mini quizzes and should only take a minute or two to complete, hence the name.

Summer slide
I got these books for my kids for summer. They do 2 pages a day and then get their wifi. This is the 3rd summer and they are on par with grade level

So far so good!
My daughter really loves this book, the pages are short and there is a place to put the grade for each (motivating her to try). Most of the time she will do several pages in a sitting, but if it's a bad day just doing one is not overwhelming. The questions are varied and gives me a chance to see where she lacks (and teach accordingly). We homeschool, and tend to use different types of work books for math. This has been mostly review, but I am interested to see how she does as it gets harder, but I will definitely be buying more of this type.(

Helps retain what they've already learned, will buy next years books too.
My 8 and 11 year old are homeschooled. I use this in the mornings to get their brains going for their math and algebra units. We haven't covered some of the q's in each lesson so we either look them up or skip to the next question. I also bought a grade lower for my 11 year old because of his learning disability. They both zip through the lesson and it seems to give them satisfaction in knowing that they remember what they've been taught in previous lessons weather this years lessons or two years ago. LOVE THESE BOOKS!

Pretty in-line with our public schools
The entire series is pretty in-line with my kids' public school education. For this particular grade (3), I like how they slowly introduced the idea of multiplication. My only compliant would be layout. On some pages its really easy to skip a question or two because they're placed in a weird spot. I get it, saving space and all, but it breaks the question-to-question flow.

Great Summer Preview
I am using the 3rd-grade math minutes as a summer workbook for my son entering 3rd grade. Each worksheet has only a few problems; so it is not daunting when you look at the page. My son has a tendency to be overwhelmed when looking at a page filled with problems (even if they are easy). This lets us tackle a few problems a day with minimal stress. Also, it lets us review concepts that he has not gone over extensively in 2nd grade (mainly multiplication). Each page builds upon the others: fact families are reviewed in clusters, and pages get progressively harder.

great and quick review
This is great for a quick review. The kids love it and they get some concepts reviewed on a regular basis. They like to do volume quite a bit, which is great because that is a pitfall for my third graders. There are a few computation problems and a few thinking problems and the publishers seem to put something from all the strands of the NCTM standards. For my class I had to adjust it and instead of one minute I give them two minutes to complete as much of the review as they can.

Tremendous math resource!
I have used Math minutes for years over various grade levels. Best resource to support any curriculum I have come across. Easy to use, cyclical review of skills, perfect number of problems for students. I cannot recommend this enough. This resource has broadened my students knowledge of math skills tremendously!
