Literacy Assessment & Intervention for Classroom Teachers

This is one of the best resources for literacy instruction which I have stumbled upon. The inventories are complete and student friendly. The assessments are direct and brief enough to administer in one meeting or within a few minutes of reading/ language arts period. The reading material provides many activities to apply with individual students or whole class instruction. It is a very great resource to purchase.

The book is good, but it is still a text book so it won't be as good as a regular book. The book is for a class I have to take

This is a textbook I've been referencing long after my class which required it finished. It is chock full of amazing interventions and teaching strategies. It's got several appendices full of fabulous resources. This is a book I'll be using for years to come!
