Sounds so good it made me uncomfortable at first
I bought this mic thinking, “Cool, now I can sound a little more professional.” What I didn’t expect was to hear my own voice back and go, “Wait… is that really me?”This thing is super clean. No static, no weird background hum, no mystery fan noises from across the house. Just pure, detailed sound. It picks up your voice in a way that’s kind of flattering but also slightly unsettling—like, I didn't know I made that many mouth noises. I’ve been drinking water more just out of guilt.Build-wise, it’s a chunky boy. Feels like it could survive a minor earthquake or be used as a blunt weapon in a video game. You’ll need a decent interface and some gain (yeah, the Cloudlifter rumors are real), but once it's set up, it just works.I’m not a famous streamer, radio host, or voice actor. I just wanted to not sound like I was calling into a Zoom meeting from the moon. This mic delivered. Now I sound suspiciously competent, which is dangerous.Would buy again. Unless it outlives me, which it probably will.

Studio-Quality Sound — Worth Every Penny
The Shure SM7B is hands-down one of the best microphones I’ve ever used. Whether you’re recording vocals, podcasts, voiceovers, or streaming, this mic delivers rich, warm, and professional-grade sound that instantly levels up your audio game. What really sets it apart is how well it handles background noise. It captures your voice with incredible clarity while rejecting unwanted room sound — perfect for untreated spaces. It’s built like a tank, feels premium, and you can tell it’s made to last. You’ll need a good audio interface or preamp with enough gain to drive it properly, but once it’s set up right, the results are incredible. If you’re serious about your sound, the SM7B is absolutely worth the investment. A true industry standard for a reason.

Great microphone
There's a reason the sm7b is used world wide by radio stations, recording studios, and podcasters/youtubers/Streamers. Its a phenomenal microphone with crystal clear audio. The only drawback is that due to its weight, not all microphone arms are suited for it, and can sag. Make sure you get an arm or stand that can support the weight

Works great!
I've seen and heard so much about this mic so I just had to get one myself! I used it for a podcast that I was a guest on and it works amazing. No feedback or any issues whatsoever. Very easy to set up too. Might use it as a vocal mic for some of my songs as well! 10/10
