Didn’t actually fit
According to the manufacturer and Amazon fit guide these should have been correct. But they didn’t the intended vehicle. I’m sure they would have worked fine, but will never know. Make sure and double check which bulb you need for those 90’s GM’s with rectangular lights.

Worked for my truck
Fit my 1986 K10 just fine. Glad they are reasonably priced.

Brighter than OE but low beam could be spread a bit wider but an overall improvement.
Bright but seem a little too concentrated on low beam with most light straight in front and too much of a drop off in intensity to the sides of the road making them no better than stock headlights. But it is a sealed beam and not an led in a more modern fixture, still better than OE and I haven't aimed them yet which should help a bit.

Brighter than some LED's
Can't get any easier to replace, than these lights for a jeep. Unplug old, replug new. The truth is, SOME LED bulbs may just be brighter than this but... It's finding the right one.I hate blue light in LED's. I like true pure, white light, and this halogen is it.

Halogen Headlights. Not some miracle HID
Ok guys, read alot of reviews and a bunch of people saying how bad these headlights are. but if you read their reviews you will understand that they were expecting something. These are HALOGEN headlights.. They're a little brighter than OEM but that's it. they are not some miracle to turn them into HID. They are just simply put. Halogen headlights which at a little Brighter and higher Kelvin (white) lights. they will not last long because of it. You have to understand what Halogen is. it's not Xenon or LED. OEM lights are around 3500 Kelvin. these i would guess to be about 4000 Kelvin.Meaning, the color of the light is more WHITE than OEM. The same color as Xenon standard lights used in autos from the factory. These came in Philips Box, they are Phillips lamps and they work exactly how i expected them to. Simply because i was expecting Halogen headlights. not Xenon or LED or any other HID. If you want those. then spend the extra money and stop expecting halogen to be as bright.Lesson in lights.you have 2 things you want to look at when you are thinking about lights.Kelvin.the Color of the light. look up a kelvin chart sometime. you will see what i mean. Now this is actually one of the least important things when it comes to lights. Cast hue of the light can change the visual appearance of what you are seeing. Soft White around 3200 kelvin has a yellowing hue. 4500 Kelvin or Bright White and 5500 Kelvin Daylight white are color hues the range is 1000-10000 and higher. the color of the light means a lot less than the Lumens.Lumensis a measure of light intensityHalogen is about 20-30 Lumens per watt depending on manufactureThese headlights are 35w for low beam and 65 for High. making them 1050 lumens for low and 1950 Lumens for High.Conversely. lets take a look at LED 5x7 light. you can find them here in upto around 30w/55w less watts than the Halogen headlights.....BUT. LED at 4500 Kelvin color is actually pushing closer to 85 Lumens per Watt. making them 2550 Lumens Low and 4675 Lumens High. The LED lights are just about 240% brighter. and thus will beam further.

Better than stock
After 26 years, it's time to replace the headlights due to the seals failing. These were a few dollars more than the stock replacements, but they are worth it. They disperse the light more evenly than the stock ones did and they are several shades closer in temperature to daylight. I was going to get the LEDs but in my truck I would need extra wiring harnesses and power converters and all that hassle wasn't worth it, plus they kind of look dumb.So these were a good purchase overall.

I wouldn't by them again
These bulbs are just as yellow as standard bulbs and shine the same as silverstars. The pattern of the beam is wierd and distracting.

Good replacement for early Mercedes W126
Needed new headlights for my '83 Mercedes 300SD and these fit the bill. I wanted to put in LEDs, but the Philips 6054 LED units are $150 apiece (!) so these are an inexpensive alternative. Easy installation, perfect fit.
