Does what its supposed to'
Works great. The wire strands are way too long and get caught in my swim suit. The clips do not holD up to swimming; needed to get better clamps. But still, its a good sound and is water tight.

Get what you pay for....
Good sound and cheap but BOTH broke within a few wearings. The plastic piece holding the wires to the buds came apart on both sides. They still work but its just a matter of time until the wires are stretched beyond their ability and break completely.

Good Buy
I have an old waterproof iPhone shuffle that's still working great but the factory earbuds were just worn out and leaking water. I bought this set to replace my factory ones and they work perfectly with the bonus of louder volume. That is to say I had to turn down the volume on the shuffle because the new ones we more efficient and produced more sound. The only down side for me was they have a longish cable that I had to coil up on my swim google band in the back. Not a huge issue but something I hadn't really considered at purchase. Overall these are rock solid..., especially for the money.

Good Value
I purchased the cheaper version about 6 months ago as a replacement for underwateraudio headphones which are $60. I experimented quite a bit with the tips before I was satisfied. After about 3 months, one ear started to get quieter until it was completely dead. So, I bought the more expensive version of these. I think this set is little louder\better sound. Also, this set has a little more protection for the cable where it connects to the bud which is nice. I'm pretty sure I ruined the previous pair by pulling on the cable sometimes. They are the very thin\fragile earbud cables. If you haven't tried these or swimming earbuds, I would highly recommend using the waterproof tips. The size needs to be pretty big to fully seal the water out. If you get water in, you won't hear much if anything. You should have to sort of work the tips in and out by moving them in little circles as you push\pull. The first couple of times were a little uncomfortable until I got used to it. Normally, you will attach your device (I have a Delphin) to the back of your goggles and loop the buds under your goggle straps so they are upside down from the way earbuds are normally worn. So you do want a short cable which these have. If you wear a swim cap, it needs to be up above the earbud (not covering). They do make caps with ear pouches that should work for earbuds but I haven't tried them. Overall, I would recommend the more expensive of these earbuds.

Inexpensive but not sure they'll last long
I got 2 of these head phones for the price of 1 pair that came with my waterproof MP3. They worked well underwater; however, one of the ear pieces stopped working within about 1.5 months and the other ear piece stopped about 2 weeks later, so I only got a total of 2 months' use out of 1 pair. It was the end of the swimming season so I don't know how the other pair would have faired. My old head phones which came with my Syryn device worked for almost a year. The other thing I didn't like about these ear phones was the length of the wire connection. My Syryn ear phones had a short wire but could be connected to a longer wire if needed. These ear phones only had a long wire connection. I had a hard time keeping the wire tucked into the back of my googles to keep the wire off my neck and out of the way.

I hope these last. Could be an excellent value
Ok, I've only used these one time so far but I'm impressed enough to feel a rating is in order. I honestly expected these to be complete junk, but they were very inexpensive and I needed a replacement set for my SYRYN mp3 player ASAP.The sound is surprisingly decent. The fit is excellent ( there are many plug options supplied). The water and steam room performance was better (by far) than the original set that came with my SYRYN. This was quite a surprise, frankly and I felt it was worth sharing. The key will be How well these hold up over time. My originals only lasted 4 months of light use before they developed a short. The cabling on this unit looks a little flimsy but I had no problems so I'll just need to take a little care with it and if they hold up GREAT. They were incredibly cheap and sound decent and performed well under swimming and steam room conditions.

very good sound quality. However, cord is way to long and earpieces don't work and fall off
great sound. However, the cord is ridiculously long even trying to fold cord to make it shorter it becomes such a mess and then gets caught in your stroke or water resistance pulls from the mass of cord, it pulls the earpieces out. The earpiece has nipples to hold the silicon inner ear fittings on and they are too small to hold any of the silicon pieces on no matter which size plugs you use. I've been using underwater MP3 type players for 7-8 years and like to listen on the long yard workouts, other earpieces have worked fine so I guess I am back to that option.

Good sound
The ear plugs are used when I swim laps. They perform well until one gets a little water into the ear, then that ear's sound goes poor. The sound from the other ear is still good. Sometimes I will stop and get the water out of the ear and the sound is good again.
