Same Quality Dance Shoe as in the Past
I had a pair of these shoes before and literally danced right through them! I had them for a number of years and only wore them on dance surfaces (never outside) and I have had these shoes for well over 10 years. I started to poke through in the little toe, then along the front sole. I eventually just danced right through them. I looked at the number on the shoe, ordered the same ones in the same size and they fit perfectly! I did not even have to use them for part of the time and then give them a rest. I just put them on and danced as before! Great turning feature! Great support and cushion, but enough flexibility to do what I need to do for a variety of dance styles.

Finally! ZUMBA shoes that don't kill my feet!
I have had trouble finding sneakers that don't hurt the balls of my feet. When I started ZUMBA, I found the jumping/ high impact moves made this problem even worse. Plus, sneakers would not slide well for turns, etc. I tried several different pairs of sneakers wiht no success, then did a search in amazon for "zumba shoes" and "dance shoes." These got good reviews from others. so I decided to try a pair. There was free return shipping so I had nothing to lose! According to the reviews, these shoes run a bit small, so I ordered 1/2 size bigger than my regular size. They were perfect! There was no "Break in" time required...from the first time I wore these, they were comfortable and I was able to do an entire 60 minute session without pain! And the soles slide easily, but provide enough traction to do lunges. I highly recommend these!

There's a lot good and a little not so good.
I just danced in them for the first time and I'm not sure if I should keep them or return them. Here are the points:Good toe pivot.Good heel pivot.Decent grip even with pivot so you can hold your place in various postions without sliding.Moderate to poor glide. It's okay, but doesn't hold a candle to the glide on the old capezio jazz shoes.High arch support which I like because of a history of ballet and pointe which distorts your foot shape a bit, but some might feel it's too high.I purchased a half size up reading reviews about them running small. They fit lengthwise, but they're too narrow. Not causing extreme pain, but it does cause some discomfort and tingling in my smaller toes.Don't love the "support" at the ankle. It's supportive but bulky. It's just okay. This is probably a little picky but I don't like the rounded laces. It makes them hard to tie and tighten, but it can be done with a little extra pull.Lastly, they are not pretty but that doesn't matter much to me.In the end, it was a pretty good dance. All in all I'd give them about an 80%. I've been trying several brands of dance shoes and dance sneakers and this one is among the highest.Still looking for that perfect pair.

I wear a size 7 but ordered and 8. Perfect!
I use these shoes for cardio, Zumba, and other classes I take at the gym. I asked one of my instructors to recommend a shoe and she suggested three brands. This was one of them. She told me to be sure to order one size up. I was afraid they would be out of price range so I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price. They fit my rather wide feet perfectly at one size up. My arches feel well supported and I've not felt any twinges of pain or any fatigue when I wear them. My toes fit well in the toe box. Some other reviewers mentioned that they slip a bit on wood floors. The classroom at my gym looks like it has wood floors (although I don't know for sure) and I've never felt myself slipping in these shoes at all, yet I can move much more easily in these shoes than I could in regular sneakers. The laces are very long so I double tie them and haven't had any problems with them coming untied or anything. They are very comfortable.Overall, they are great shoes for my purposes. I recommend them highly.

Great dance sneakers
These do run a little narrow but like any dance shoe, they need to be broken in. Perfect for a variety of dance surfaces. I have no complaints and would not hesitate to buy them again.

Not so great
Based on the good reviews for this model, I bought a pair for my Zumba class. The shoes are made of good materials and are nice looking. However I did not find it comfortable as other reviewers described. The arch of the shoes is somewhat flat and thin, which does not provide enough support for my high-arch feet. Also the arch curve does not fit the natural shape of the foot. It curves a little off, toward the front side of the shoe, which makes it feel awkward when walking. I returned the shoes and swithed back to my old brand and model that I knew for sure would work for me. (If your feet have high arch like mine, I would recommend you to buy Bloch S0538L. The shoes don't look very fancy, but for comfort they serve you well). The positive experience is that Amazon return policy is so quick and easy. I got free shipping with the purchase of the shoes. It only cost me $4.80 for return shipping, and I got my refund in just a few days. No restocking fee. I would definitely chose Amazon over other othe sellers when possible.
