Q: What is the shelf life of this item?

The bag I am currently using was opened about 3 weeks ago. The “use by “ date is 11/5/23

Q: Is this listing for a 900g or 2kg bag? It seems to mention both weights, and the price looks a bit expensive for a small bag or cheap for a large one.

Was £9.59 for a 2kg bag when I bought mine however p&p was free. Seems to suggest it’s now £6.50 but only free p&p if you spend over £20 so roughly the same unless you order other things too? Hope that helps.

Q: Does this food attrack rats too?

No but if you have rats or mice in your garden they may eat it. You can tell if a ice or rat is eating the food as they tend to nibble at the side of the bowl and food, if they are eating the hedgehog food the biscuits will have slight nibbles in them. During the day, I recommend covering the hedgehog food otherwise birds will eat it too

Good value for money

Good product,just ordering the second bag as ist bag almost finished.the local hedgehogs seem to like it,we provide a chicken plastic water feeder beside the hedgehog food as it's dry biscuits.the food bowl very often flipped upside down in the morning ! But that might be our chicken.
