Great for gumpaste!
I use a lot of cmc/tylose powder and so I wanted to try ordering larger amounts so I don't run out all the time. This stuff works great for gumpaste! The gumpaste I made with it doesn't tear and dries very hard. Great product for a great price

Ok - not great for my needs.
My needs are a bit specific and the experience with this material was eye-opening.In my case, I needed a specific viscosity and a large quantity mixed up. However, even with exacting measurements, I was unable to produce even close results between batches.Ultimately I had to purchase, and wait to receive, a lab quality CMC powder to get really good results from batch to batch that could be used for my needs.While this material was inexpensive, and the lab quality material over 25x as costly, I guess you have to weigh your needs vs cost and availability.This material also had a yellow hue to the mixed volume, the lab quality material was clear when mixed.
