I bought a 2 pack. On of the units was not working. On the day I received the product...I emailed the company and asked if I should return both. I had an amost instant reply on a Sunday and they said not to worry about sending it back because they had already sent a new unit. WOW! I was shocked and they both work great... exactly the sensivity I needed and the size was perfect.

I was excited about these because I wanted something to make my life easier. My lamp is on the other side of the entrance, so I walk through a dark room to turn the light on. I got these clap detection outlets so I could turn the light on when I enter the room. When it works, it works great. But then they shut off by themselves sometimes, and they are not always responsive to the clapping. It became frustrating and complicated, so I returned them. I love the idea of them and when they worked, and wished they were more reliable or I knew how to use them better.

I returned it because it did not work very well for me. I tried it in several different locations in a small bedroom to control a bedside lamp but was just too frustrating to use because it only worked sometimes when you clapped even within 6 feet of the outlet. I really wanted this to work but sadly not.

Works just like the old school commercials, we wanted to be able to turn a lamp without getting up or moving, and this is the perfect solution!

It works sometimes and other times it doesn’t. It’s linked to the lamp in my bedroom and it frequently turns the lamp back on in the middle of the night when I’m sleeping. We have stopped using it.
