Lane Home Furnishings 6002-11 Glenrock Hi Leg Recliner, Mushroom

I'm just under 5' 6" female, above average weight with short legs. My old recliner which I loved, is similar to this one. This blue-grey chair is almost exactly like the one I had, but the cushions are quite a bit firmer, the top of the back headrest isn't wide enough for my big male cat to sleep on, & the headrest is a bit shorter (I'd guess for up to 5' 7" tall person approx. (depending if they have long legs or tall torso/neck), plus I need a small pillow to fully support my low back. My old chair had all these useful built-in features so was more restful to sit in & just overall more comfortable while being supportive. Here are the advantages of this blue-grey recliner - the arms are better than the arms on my old chair & my big lap cat uses the arm for his head. Both recline positions are suitable for TV watching, the furthest recline position is reclined enough (not flat) for napping. Mechanism is easy to push with your body while hands are holding on the arm rests. It's easy to get in/out of the chair as the height of the seat is ideal & the distance from the front to rear of seat still allows me to touch the floor - often times furniture is too deep for shorter thighs. I have a quilted cotton throw over the chair as it is noticeably warmer to sit in than my old chair.

Got this recliner to replace a hi-leg la-z-boy destroyed by cats, so I didn’t want to spend too much but still wanted something attractive and comfortable. This far exceeded my expectations. The fabric is a good quality tapestry - a gorgeous paisley of browns and tans - and after a couple weeks of use the reclining mechanism works better than my pricey old la-z-boy. I’m 5’2” and this is perfect for me. It’s a mama bear sized chair, probably not the best for papa bears. Check the dimensions if you’re not sure it’ll be big enough. Delivery included got it inside the front door (and the driver even took away the shipping box!). The price for the version I got - Luisa Tobacco - fluctuates considerably, so it’s worthwhile to check prices and be patient. I know not everyone has the same experience or opinion of this Lane recliner, but I think it’s brilliant!

I love the looks of the chair, the colors, and the size. Pushing the arms to recline is difficult but many reviewers mention that it gets better the more you recline it. My main complaint was that it went from Georgia to California, back to Georgia, and finally to me.

I don’t often write reviews, but felt like I had to share my experience here. We bought two of these chairs in the khaki color. I love the look of them and they are the perfect size for our bedroom. However, a few months after purchasing, I noticed that the entire left arm of the chair was separating from the body. These chairs are lightly used so definitely seemed defective. I contacted Lane furnishings via the amazon link and started a very long email conversation with their warranty department. To sum up an extremely long email thread, they sent me a replacement chair, many weeks later, to some random warehouse an hour drive from my home. This warehouse was doing a favor for them by accepting my new chair. Lane furniture refused to deliver the replacement to my house (so odd since it was originally delivered via amazon to my home). When I arrived to pick up the new replacement chair I found that all four wooden legs were completely broken. Several weeks later, Lane Furnishings refuses to respond to my emails. I have two broken chairs and even had to pay the warehouse manager to send the second broken chair to the dump. The issue is still unresolved—I will never buy from this company again.

My husband and I have gone thru a few chairs in the past few years all of them claiming to be the best and most comfortable. Take it from me. After spending several hundred dollars on junk chairs, we purchased this chair. It was delivered today by a very nice young man. He unpacked it and as soon as we saw it, we knew it was the ONE. It's well constructed and very sturdy. We have a Lazy Boy and this is along those lines. I read the reviews and I am telling you, it's a beautiful chair. It completes our living room/family room and we are going to get many years of good use. We may buy another one in a few months as now we are flipping coins to take turns!!!! best price and best comfort.

I have never purchased anything online this large before, so I was a little trepidatious. No need. It was delivered in a timely manner with a specific time period arranged. The delivery person was very helpful. But the chair was absolutely what I wanted. Being made by Lane, in the USA, I was even more please. The first time I sat on it, it felt just a wee bit stiff, but that's a new chair. With the second time I set in the chair, it was as comfortable as could be. It is just a bit of a deeper shade of wine than I expected but it definitely works and I'm really glad it is. I was expecting to have to assemble the chair. What a delight when it came fully assembled. I will have more courage to buy furniture from Amazon in the future.

From the start when you lean back cracking wood sound. Worse now and the cushion is almost shot. I had two other chairs like this over the years but they last a few years. I wrote to the company but no word.I moved it out of the living room and put back my old chair which thank god I did not get rid off.Things happen but no answer upset me.
