I have watched and researched bib shorts/sets for a while before choosing this one.Biggest criteria is pad and fit.You have to dig into the reviews to evaluate that.I am pleased I made this choice, so i hope I can help you make a decision.FDX clothing seems really good value and quality and I can confirm after my 35 mile ride today on my MTB.The top first. I am 41 chest and average build. The top fits perfect but not skin tight. XLThe silicone web/cuffs on the arms are a little strange at first but they are designed to stay put and not fold up etc, they work ok.There are 3 pockets on the rear plus a zipped pocket in the middle, great attention to detail.I love the design of this set.The shorts. I am about 33/34 waist with fairly muscly chunky legs. The shorts are snug but fit well. I'm 5'11".The shorts have the same silicone style thin banding on the bottom of the legs as the arms, this extends the shorts to be longer than others as standard i would say, feels a little weird sometimes on the tendons under your knees, but they stay put. The pad is the best bit, have to say, I hardly felt i was sitting on a saddle, its the best pad i have in shorts I have bought this year.there is gel in.After a 35 mile ride on my MTB I was as fresh as could be.Did get a little sweaty in the small of my back, but I had a windproof gilet on for half the ride.The top did not ride up really and it is said that if you are comfortable on your bike you perform better, well I can confirm this today, i did feel good and after the ride, it was my best yet and didn't feel exhausted, I would say in the main because i was comfortable, my back side was not sore at all.So top marks and would buy from FDX again. I hope this has helped you in making a choice and size. Really smart comfy set.

Fantastic quality item, jersey fits really well and the back pockets hold everything I need for 2 hours; Co2 pump w cartridges, inners, multitool, gels and iPhone 11pro.Only slight downside was the bib shorts fitting very tight. The pockets on the shorts gave a place to put empty gel sachets which was a great addition.

I have several FDX tops, bib-shorts, bib-tights, and compression/thermal layers. These have been the only items which have let me down from their range thus far.The stitching on the tops rear pockets is coming undone as unlike their other tops, the pocket openings are not elasticated, and reaching around and fetching items from them has caused the stitching to fail. Additionally the stitching securing the (very comfortable) gel pad inside the bib-shorts is failing.Having only covered a few hundred miles and been using them only during the last few months, these have both failed to do as well as some of the other excellent items I have bought from FDX.As such I can recommend FDX products, just not this jersey and bibshort combo.That said, the layers wick well, and are comfy for a sub-hour commute of all-day sportive/ride. The material breaths, moves well, and the panel flat-stitching is comfy and chafe-free whether you're just ambling along or sprinting with traffic.::EDIT 25/6/18::FDX have very graciously reached out and supplied me with a new set of cycle wear of my choice, plus a set of their excellent gloves.review changed from 2/5 to 4/5 due to the passionate and personal care the team has invested in me and their wonderful brand.

Looks great and is made to good quality. The jersey is very light weight, and perfect on a hot day. The Bib shorts are good too, very comfy.High recommended from me

Loved the product but unfortunately faulty product was delivered. There is a hole on front of the top. If i start wearing it it will become bigger and bigger. otherwise great colour and product. There should be better quality check before despatching item to avoid time waste at both ends.

I've brought quite a few fdx items over the past 3 years and these are by far the best set yet, comfy, breathable and look great. They also have two brilliant little pockets on the bib short legs that you can store a couple of gels in and you don't even notice they are there, this company just goes from strength to strength keep it up guys

very good fit and comfortable on the bike. I have better wicking cycling gear on hot days but having said that it still a good value and quality and would recommend FDX cycle clothing,

A great set for the money, the gel pad in the shorts is really comfy and the shirt is a great fit. The bib top is a little short for my height (5ft 8) but I am sure will stretch a little. I have other shorts in a medium from them which are perfect.
