Great Product that for me has produced noticeable beneficial results, less joint pain, faster workout recovery, overall slight energy pickup, (I'm 68 and take many other antioxidants/nutrients etc). The Big difference for me is that the Price has been Greatly Reduced. Knew about this product for years, but was simply too high priced. Now I buy it for others, including our priest, and am recommending it highly to friends/relatives. Also, I've been able to cut back the amounts of other supplements I take, (less glucosamine & chondroitin/knees) so I am actually not spending more money by adding this. I like the added benefit support for the cardiovascular system, brain and visual support as I do a lot of reading/computer work ( I also take lutein). The fact that BioAstin's Astaxanthin is also a pro-oxidant which causes possibly less free radical damage and for me helps reduce inflammation more than most other regular antioxidants is a big plus. I still take my grape seed extract, vit. c, pomegranate & turmeric, but I just don't need as much, which helps the budget. I'm 68, but most people think I'm at least ten years younger so for me the noticeable skin softening, firming and the slowly fading of brown spots is a plus. Note: wish they made it also in 8 mg size. I take 12 mg and my wife 8 mg daily. Note, Important: In my case, I am glad that we started off taking 4 mg daily for the first 5 days, with at least 6-8 glasses of water daily, and then gradually increased by 4 mg every 5 days, until our desired dosage reached, as IMO, it is important to help avoid the Herxheimer effect (where your body can detoxify to quickly) by taking too much too soon. I gave the astaxanthin time to work and after a couple of weeks (or sooner) I began to notice the health benefits and added zest. I suspect, IMO, that possibly a few of the negative reviews may have been because too large of a dosage may have been taken initially and without enough daily water?, but each person is different so proceed accordingly and under your doctor's guidance and approval. ( I have to say that)

The media could not be loaded. I use these for joint support and to get glowing skin. I plan to start cardio workouts again and am hoping it helps with exercise recovery. This product came highly recommended by a family friend with zero joint pain and nice skin. I’ve ordered these before from Amazon. I received my second round today in the mail (5/28/20) and decided to share a review. As my pictures show, they arrive safe with a plastic seal. People close to me noticed a difference but it took 6-8 weeks for sure. Joint-wise I felt better after a while, but not what I’m hoping for. This time, I’m going to take 3 gel caps daily and see if there is a difference. I couldn’t rate it for sun protection because I’ve only taken them in the late winter/early spring.Note:Read the directions carefully. The gel caps are four mg each, allowing for a 4mg/8mg/or 12mg daily dosage. My first round I took one gel cap daily for at least 30 days: which is only 4mg. I did this to test my sensitivity and to “stretch it.” However, according to the supplemental facts, a serving size is (3) three gal caps. Directions suggest “one to three gel caps daily,” but anything less than the 3 gel caps won’t provide the maximum 12 mg of Astaxanthin you probably desire. There is an option to buy the 12 mg gel caps as wellZ Also, be sure to take with a meal that contains fat as directed.Overall, it’s a great product that I feel is worth a try. My (non-medical) advice is to start with the max dose and give it 2-6 weeks to see/feel the results you desire.If it doesn’t work out, I don’t believe money is wasted because I do believe the benefits are real and this brand/seller are legit.
