I've gone through just about every other "grabber" before buying this one. I even had the foldable one... all of them are crap and the foldable one eventually breaks!!! I have come back to this one-piece, RMS grabber a few times now. I have one in every room and upstairs! Great for clean up projects like, "clean up the beach" day or any kind of trash collecting so you're not bending over and stressing your back. This is handy even when I drop something small like a pill or coin, the grabber "fingers/pinchers" have a great rubbery coating with traction to hold just about everything. They hold a good amount of weight as well, I stock my cabinets as well as my fridge... places out of my normal reach and where I would have to bend over to reach. In fact, I'm going to put one in my car!!! This is definitely on my top 5 list of life hacks or human assistive devices for basic living. I'm almost ashamed to say it but lately it's helped me taking off my shoes and socks as I've got bad back! Good solid product, 2 thumbs up!!!

I have quite a few trees in my yard and I use these to pick up the small branches that constantly fall. Over the years I’ve had many pick up sticks break. Some last a month and some will last a season or more. After using these I can tell that they are well made and should last for a long time. I also like the fact that the tip can be easily rotated 90 degrees to give me the best position to pick up items.
