Just what I was looking for! I have wavy hair but don’t want a ton of products in it. I use this exclusively (along with a spray in leavin in and heat protection) and this makes my hair exactly how I want it! I find when I diffuse the wavy last longer and loom better than air dry but I think that’s just my hair. Smells amazing and my waves are soft and flow easily.

I have extremely fine, 2C/3A waves/curls that I was really struggling to keep hydrated and defined this winter. Suddenly my usual routine was just not cutting it and I had tried what felt like EVERYTHING to bring some life back to my hair. I found out about this product from a Cosmopolitan article talking about products for fine, textured hair and I decided to give it a go. I am SO GLAD I did!! This product does exactly what it says it does: gives you light as a feather, soft as a pillow curls. My hair is hydrated and shiny and there is ZERO crunch or greasy residue. The smell is a bit strong when going on, but doesn't linger in an overpowering way; you're just gonna smell super clean.What has worked the best for me is1. immediately combing my hair with a detangling comb after I get out of the shower2. re-wetting my hair with a spray bottle so it's dripping wet2. putting a pea sized amount on my finger tips and then rubbing my hands together before flipping my hair and scrunching throughout the ends; you want your hair to make a squelching sound as you distribute the product3. standing back upright and scrunching through the outer layers but not putting it too close to the scalp to avoid build up over time4. then doing another pass with a microfiber towel to remove excess water and lock in the shape of the curls5. air drying!This product really has been revolutionary for me and I've been recommending it to all of my curly-haired friends. It is on the pricier side for a hair product, but the bottle is so big and a little goes a long way, so I really see myself not needing to repurchase for at least 6 months (and that's with washing my hair every other day). 10/10 recommend!

This works wonderfully on my daughter's thick hair! It works great to bring out the natural curls/waves she has in her hair without weighing it down or leaving it feeling crunchy. It dries quickly and keeps the texture and curl in her hair even after sleeping.

The product promises big, soft curls that aren't ramen-noodle thin or crunchy, and a scent like fresh laundry, and it delivers on all of those. The scent didn't last past drying, though, and the hold unfortunately didn't last all day for me, so it would probably need additional styling products to get that all-day hold, which might render the non-crunchiness moot or affect the kind of curls it delivers. Different hair types might have less of an issue - I'm between a 2B and 2C curl, with healthy, non-coarse hair. It also darkened my hair somewhat and left it looking less clean. Still, it did a great job of delivering maximum curl for me, and did it without getting hard or sticky, so I'll play around with quantity to see how it affects my results.

I have naturally curly hair but it only looks good if I use a good product and a diffuser. Well, I hadn't quite found a good product and I've tried a lot! Until finally I got this Pillow Soft Curl...game changer. It smells like Downy fabric softener, which I like, has a nice texture, a lot goes a long way and it leaves your curls soft, bouncy and so pretty!

To the person too scared to use alcohol in their hair products, there are 2 types of alcohol. The good and bad. Cetearyl alcohol is good bc it’s a “fatty alcohol”, used in most cosmetic and hair care products as an emollient and for its moisturizing benefits. It’s derived from natural fats and oils. Cetearyl, Cetyl, and Stearyl alcohol are all fatty alcohols and are considered safe for use in personal care products. I apologize for the chemistry lesson, but it bums me out when ppl down vote a good product based off ignorance. Now as far as my review for this products goes, all I can say is it really is the best darn curl cream you’re gonna find, and leaves your hair smelling divine!

I love how this formula works for my fine, wavy but frizzy hair. It’s not sticky or crispy and I would have given it 5 stars if the fragrance weren’t so overpowering, cheap and synthetic smelling (honestly reminds me of a cheap bathroom deodorizer). It literally gave me a migraine after about an hour and I had to wash my hair. I will keep looking for an alternative unless/until they make a fragrance-free version. I would love to hear from the manufacturer if/when that happens, because it truly works great if you don’t mind smelling like a bathroom.
