It's fine, but just offers knowledge you could find on your own elsewhere for the most part.
I teach a college course and use this book as one of our sources. It's a good overview, but is now a little out of date and offers little extra insight beyond things you could learn from OSHA and other agencies directly.

It often seems as though this is just a condensed version of the life safety codes. I would appreciate more writing and less repeating.
