Pros:-well made-comfortable on first touch.-Surprisingly light-Great support (profile shown in pictures)-Fantastic traction (sole shown in pictures)-Sole of toe flexes for traction- size 11 fits well (I usually wear 11 1/2)Cons:-PriceyComparison:I tried three different shoes and here is my quick comparison, for more information read my in depth reviews of each shoe, whoch can be found through my account page.-Spenco yumi: 2 STARS not supportive enough and slippery sole-Orthaheel Ryder: 3 STARS Not as supportive as I expected and strange sole profile.-Orthaheel Bryce: 5 STARS Perfection! Great support, Great look, and Great traction. Worth the price.Review:The shoe is well put together and looks great! I do not have Plantar Fasciitis but I do have very loose ankle joints and collapsed arches. I was told by my doctor and my physical therapist that I should never walk or stand without arch support. I Purchased these along with 3 other orthopedic flip flops. These where the only ones that offered enough support. The shoe is both supportive and comfortable, the thong strap is smooth, and the sole is soft but supportive. Additionally there is a very soft heal pad that makes the shoe even more comfortable. The sole is super grippy, something that is important to me, also something that was missing from ll the other orthopedic sandals.Summary:This shoe is perfect! It offers great support and comfort, all while looking great! Yes it is expensive, but for someone who needs support it is well worth the price. I would suggest this to anyone.

Do Not Purchase This Sandal!!!
When I first purchased these sandals the pads on the sole were hard and glossy causing them to be very slippery on certain wet floor surfaces. The more the sandal was worn the sole pads became more scuffed and less shiny making them less slippery. I've been wearing these sandals for about four months and I can tell you this, it's the last pair I will buy! These sandals cause the soles of my feet to sweat which in turn causes the foot bed to feel slimy. I primarily purchased these sandals for the arch support, at first the support seamed to be better than most sandals I've owned, however, as time went on, my ankles, knees, hips and spine starting giving me problems. As it turns out, the arch support extends back to far into the inner heel causing excessive pressure to the outside of the heel. There is not enough heel bed cushion or support to the outside heel to balance the arch support. I definitely was expecting better quality out of a sandal that cost more that $100.00. I don't believe I've hated a sandal more than I hate these! I strongly recommend that you do not purchase these sandals! My next sandal will be the "gravity defyer". So far so good
This is my first pair of Vionic sandals and they were recommended to me by my podiatrist to battle a recent case of plantar fasciitis. These sandals are a bit rigid when you put them on but from the moment you slip them on you can feel the tremendous arch support they are going to provide. I originally felt that my feet would hurt after an hour of wearing them and there would be a "adjustment period" but truthfully my feet adjusted to them quickly and after wearing them all day I had no foot or heel pain. I do feel that the sandals run a touch narrow and I have never had a problem with any other shoe or sandal feeling narrow. These sandals are also expensive relative to other sandals I have had, but if my feet do not hurt at the end of the day I feel it is money well spent.

Insole is on the thin side. Should've stuck with the Wave. A little overpriced.
I've been a huge Orthaheel fan for several years now as I have extremely high arches that cause pretty severe knee pain if they aren't properly supported. Orthaheel/Vionic flip flops have been my solution as most flip flops are flat. I was really excited to come across these, even at $100+, as they look like normal somewhat manly flip flops.Arch support is good (better than regular flip flops) but not as good as past Orthaheel models I've worn. I think this is because these are very thin compared to others. I love the Vibram outsole but wish that the insole was a bit thicker for more padding/comfort and more support in the arch. I definitely notice more pain in my knees after walking around in these for a couple of hours than what I experienced with my old Wave sandals. Finally, the strap is a bit loose. I'm sure they are trying to avoid a break in period by just loosening them up but I prefer to start with straps that are a bit on the tight side and let them stretch out as I wear them.I would probably not spend $100+ on these again, but I am reasonably happy with them and will wear them.

Beware of heel pad.
Very good INDOOR sandal. These are not designed to wear to the beach (sun) or around water. Exposure to sun or water will result in the heel pads coming out. Great sandal while they lasted. Brown (light tan ) heel pad came out and was lost. Makes the sandals unable to wear after 8 months.... Contacted Vionic to ask if I could buy a heel pad. They apologized but said they do not have any available. Buy a different brand or ones without heel pad.

Don't waste your money!
I am really disappointed. I have bone structure issues and bought a similar pair of these made by the same manufacturer about 3 years ago. I loved them. I actually got most of 3 years out of that pair. These aren't near the quality, the fit isn't as good (too loose across the top of the foot and I have a fairly wide foot) and they have already started to fall apart. My return window closed 11 days ago so now I have a pair of flip flops that cost over $100 that won't last me the season.

Looks worn down early
Very unhappy with the quality of the top material straps, which are like suede, and stains very easily, making the shoes look worn and old. The grooves in the rubber sole also collect dust, and these sandals now look terrible.
