Hole was already in the sink. With the Hansgrohe faucet/sprayer combination it was the opportune time to install a soap dispenser. Many available on the market. This one matches the satin finish of the faucet. It installed in less than five minutes. The plastic bottle holds about half a bottle of liquid soap. You have to be careful not to allow the soap level get too high. I did. Cleaned up the spillover soap and tested the pump. It works fine. Pricing was fair. Unit quality is high. Good value.

I bought some cheap soap dispensers from the local big box hardware stores and have had to replace them every couple of years. My brother has had his for over 6 years without any issues so now that my fourth cheap one broke, I decided to order this one and hope it lasts as long as my brother's. Installation was easier than the cheap ones because the plastic "nut" is very large and therefore easy to grasp and turn. Hand tightening it was enough which is great because it's difficult to work in that narrow area under and behind the sink. If I have any issues, I'll update this review but I don't anticipate any.

I bought this soap dispenser to go with my Hansgrohe faucet with the hope that it would be short enough to clear the handle on the faucet. It does, but it's close. This is not the fault of the soap dispenser or faucet. I replaced a faucet/dispenser installed by the builder of my house and the holes for those were already cut out of my granite counter tops, so I had no options other than to either keep my original inferior faucet OR to change it out to the wonderful Hansgrohe faucet I purchased. It's a little tight in clearance, but worth it. The faucet is far superior and the soap dispenser works just fine. And matches the faucet. So I'm happy.

First purchased this along with a Hansgrohe Fauset in March of 2019 as part of a kitchen remodel. Both items were well matched in color and looked amazing against the black granite. a few months ago I started having problems with the dispenser not releasing enough soap. I noticed it had rusted out at the ejection point. As noted in another post, this item is a bit short and may leave some soap on your counter. The slanted spout is attractive but increases the chance of soap residue. Unfortunately I was just outside the manufacturers guideline for a replacement. A great looking piece. Too bad.

The quality of the product is good. Our problem was with the short length of the spout. The centerline of the hole in our kitchen countertop is 2.5" from the edge of the sink cutout which I believe is an industry standard. The spout does is extend beyond the edge of the cutout which results in a drip of soap on the countertop after dispensing. This may be a compromise in design since it's described as a both Kitchen and Bathroom soap dispenser. Nevertheless it's very annoying to have to wipe the soap drip off the countertop after every use... Had I not already installed it and thrown away the packaging I would return it.

This dispenser was purchased to replace my horrible old soap dispenser. Being a 75 year old lady who lives alone I decided to tackle the exchange. To do this project I had to lay on my back and wedge my head under and behind the garbage disposal, focus a small flashlight upward and reach up with a screwdriver to remove the old one. It took some doing but I did it. To attach the new one I placed a heavy object on the dispenser from above to keep it from moving while I reached up from below to screw on the plastic bottle. This went smoothly as I had gained dexterity removing the crappy old one. One word of caution...keep a cell phone handy when doing a project like this. I can just imagine the news article about finding the body of a woman whose head is stuck behind her garbage disposal.My efforts were worth it. The unit fills from above and does not need priming with each use. Great purchase.

No complaints, works just as it should. When our Moen faucet broke (after 7 years) we changed the faucet to Hansgrohe with stainless steel finish so we needed the soap dispenser to match the set and we're happy with the convenience and pricing at Amazon. Love it, 5 stars.
