Authentic? I have some doubts.
For a $90 polo, this looks and feels very cheap. I have some doubts on how well this will hold up in the wash. This doesn't appear to be same quality as I am used to from Lacoste.

Shrinks more than any shirt I've ever owned.
I bought the XL version of this shirt. It fit great when I first tried it on but it shrank to the size of a L after the first wash. It is now way too small for me and I never had a chance to wear it. The bottom of the shirt now sits 2" higher than the smallest XL polo I have. For $69 I expected A LOT more.

Low Quality
This is one of the worst shirts I had the misfortune of having bought. Shrunk after a few washes. I wear them under sweaters now, hoping they would quickly disintegrate so that I can feel I got some value out of them. I would never buy Lacoste again. Very low quality.

Gray Market Shirt
I believe this polo shirt is a fake. The fabric is so thin it is see-through. The fit is ridiculous. An XXL is like a medium to large and it is very short, and I mean it hits above my belt buckle. Cheap and fake!

Fake.
I got this in the mail today and washed it in cold water on delicate. The sleeve had a big hole in the seam already. Complete junk. I’ve had lots of Lacoste shorts that last many years. This didn’t even make it through ONE wash. Avoid at all costs.

His favorite shirt
Ten years ago I bought my son a black one of these for his 24th birthday. He wore it to every casual special occasion and it was clearly his favorite shirt. It took a long time to fade and held up to multiple washings. So I decided to surprise him with a special gift delivered to his office. I sent him this (black) shirt and a pair of black Lacoste Carnaby Evo shoes to match. Once again, it’s his favorite outfit. He wears a medium, so I sent him the size four.

Order Next Size Larger for a good fit.
Forgetting that this is a French product designed for Europeans, the actual size you need is one size larger. If you’re a M order a L, a L order an XL. Color is great, my color choice was reasonably priced, other colors not so much

Buy a little larger if you put in dryer.
Buy a little larger, if you are like me and wash and put your clothes in the dryer it will shrink in time, I believe I purchase and 8 and after a year I have to start trying to stretching it out or buy a new one. I wish they would use a material that doesn't continue to shrink. PS I have a newer dryer that senses when clothes are dry and turns off not to get things bone dry. :)
