Dorman 594-298 Engine Harmonic Balancer Compatible with Select Acura / Honda Models

working perfectly on my 04 crv

It was perfect for my Honda crv 2003. The only recommendation is to clean the screw of the pulley with a wire brush, they should clean all around and lubricate everything with grease. My screw was heated with a torch and I used a torque multiplier to loosen it without using a lot of effort.

Packaging had holes in it, and the part had been clearly dropped or hit very hard based on the damage in pictures.

Fitted well on my CRV2003(2.4). the pulley was removed by very large air impact. I strongly recommand to replace the oil seal together underneath of the harmonic balancer. when I took off the pulley, the seal was leaking because the engine is 12 years old. the seal is cheap($5~$10). save your time!!

Arrived pretty quick but only to find out that there is a gouge that will cause the main seal to wear quickly or fail and leak oil. That’s one reason why I ordered a new balancer was because I was changing the seal. Poor handling and storage what can I say...

This does not seem to be the original Type S pulley for an Acura RSX. It is about 6 .5 inches and the original is about 5 3/8, that was the only issue i have found. It seems built similar to the original but like I said it is not the right fit like Amazon says it is.

Perfect fit and finish on my 02 crv. Nothing bad to say.

Installed on 2005 CRV. Fit perfectly.
