The Evidential Power of Beauty: Science and Theology Meet

Elegant simplicity.
This book is excellent, both in the quality of ideas and the awe it inspires. It is thick, but worth the process. The writing is stunning. I continue to come back and reflect on his points of how vast and tiny God created the world and how perfect in itself each form is. Dubay refers to "elegant simplicity" as a mark of beauty. I will reference this work again and again.

Excellent written book..very edifying to the heart!
I am a born again Christian but the truth is, the depth of really knowing God personally, or the degree of how intimately you grow in understanding of His personality...is vaster in measure but to be had by all..As humans we are so so small and limited in our understanding of God and how feels about us..how wise He is and how totally separate He is from any type of man made god idea...I don't read as much as I wish, but the book was recommended by my favorite pastor, Mike Bickle...So I got it and truly I will read it again when I am done..it is soooooooooo wonderful...!Thank you LOrd for bringing this book by my path and please open the eyes of many others to see YOU for who you really are as well![...]

A great read!
Anyone who thinks God does not exist should take time to ponder the things in this book.

Deep, Spiritual, Thought Provoking Meditations on God's Creation and our place in it
Great book, especially the chapters "The Beauty of Sanctity", "Splendor of Revelation", and "Glory Supreme" which are wonderful meditations on the aesthetic dimensions of God's Revelation to man.Highly recommended for Catholic readers (the author is a Catholic priest and has presented a series on EWTN that references sections from this book).

Very Catholic.
Don't fail to notice the author is Catholic. He has nice observations on beauty but then he gets in jabs against birth control and non procreative sex. I bought it for a Catholic friend. Even so, I will give it to her with the caveat: hold on to your rosary or prepare to be offended.

A magnificent book
This is an astonishing book and it magnifies the glory of the universe and its Creator. The insights of many renowned physicists, microbiologistsand astrophysicts is enlightening and breathtaking. The writing is excellent and easily understood. It brought me to a whole new level of understanding about this often misunderstood subject.I am not a scientist nor a theologian, but this book was life changing for me.

A great question ,"Why Beauty?", posed and examined.
This is a book I have bought and given away several times to interested friends. Dubay is a compelling and inspirational writer who in this book asks of the universe, "Why beauty?". The reader is invited to consider his most substantial handling of that scientific and philosophical question. This is a satisfying and delightful read. Why beauty indeed??

Must have
This book is what I have been looking for most of my life. A greater insight into all that God is and has made from the mightiest to the tiniest. A must have book.

This book was returned by me because it is trying to make a point using misunderstood evidence.
I certainly would not recommend this book and its content as an objective study but rather as a poorly designed and seriously dated argument.
