Installed with Ring Floodlight Pro
I bought this weatherproof box to install my Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro. I was looking for a box as short as possible to keep the camera close to the wall. I settled on this one.I read another review that stated that none of the screws supplied with the ring camera fit in the holes in this box. This is correct, but I did find the standard screws for attaching outlets to electrical boxes screwed in these holes. I used stainless 6-32 x ⅜” oval head machine screws. I used stainless since there could be some weather exposure.Otherwise the box worked just fine for my installation.

These PVC boxes are decent quality, make sure you use they right screws for the cover!
When I first installed these I used normal 8/32" machine thread screws on the hold down for my lighting fixtures. But they didn't provide the torque I needed to properly secure the device to the box due to the threads slipping in the soft plastic. I replaced these with #8 sheet metal screws, and they gripped the plastic MUCH better than the machine thread ones did. Lesson learned ! They have stood up to the harsh outdoor sun well so far, hope they last a good long time.

Perfect to install Ring Spotlight Cam under eaves
White color matches CAM. Never will rust. Simple to install RING SPOTLIGHT CAM. Does not include screws. Used the metal cross bar that came with the CAM. Absolutely no problem with the plastic mounting phalanges if you use the right screws.

Wrong description/size
The depth per description states as 1.125". In reality, it is 1.6". If you need 1.125" D, this box won't work .

Worked well to fit where I removed a pot light in a ceiling and needed a junction box while in lockdown.

Plastic with screw holes not drilled out properly
It does the job but I’m disappointed in the screw holes. They are not properly drilled and accept screws begrudgingly. I ended up using drywall screws to attach lamp cover to box. Better in metal.
