Wonderful Novelty
I saw these in a culinary magazine and was intrigued, so I decided to try them. Bought a box of 30 or so for my holiday gift baskets last year and they were a big hit. I love champagne so these were a great excuse to open bottles of bubbly for the holidays. Its just a neat effect, watching the blossoms unfurl as the bubbles rise up- just not as dramatic as you would think. Still, pretty fun. And tasty! Makes for a different cocktail than the standard holiday fare. Would probably be very romantic for Valentine's.Lots of recipes out there for using these are dessert garnishes and cooking with them and the syrup they come packed in too. Sweet, almost a raspberry-rhubarb-vanilla flavor. Goes very well with a nice dry champagne.Little expensive for regular drinks but good to break out for special occasions or as little gifts. I think the best price I found was Amazon, but that was about a year ago.Arrived quickly and in perfect condition- came in a large box, very protected. Overall, I'm very satisfied with them and hope for more excuses to break them out!

Great taste and awesome look
Bought these to try them out for our signature wedding cocktail. We put 1 in the bottom of a champagne glass, did NOT add any additional syrup that the flowers are packed in, and filled the glass with champagne. The end result is a lovely pinky colored drink with a great treat at the end! The flower itself has a great taste. I did try 1 drink with adding a tidbit of syrup and I found it made the drink very sweet and very dark colored. I prefered just using the flower alone (which has some syrup attached to it unless you wash it off). That tiny amount of syrup that coats the flower gave the drinks the perfect pink color we were looking for without making it sweet. It really is a great look!

Tastes like a raisin
Looks lovely in a champagne flute. The flowers do open slightly while soaking in the champagne. They are heavy enough that they did not float when I added the champagne. They impart a very light sugary taste and faintly pink color. Overall it was more show than taste, which was fine with me.They are edible. Taste and texture similiar to a raisin. Only the very base of the flower is inedible. It's too tough to bite.My only complaint is the flowers were packed so tightly in the jar I had a hard time getting the first few out.I was afraid I would tear them up prying them out of the jar. They didn't tear easily (again think raisins) but it rankled my nerves.Arrived in a bad looking box, but had tons of bubble wrap to protect it. Will order again when the occaison arises.

Awesome Hibiscus Flowers
These Hibiscus Flowers are awesome! When I visited a winery in Arizona back in 2010, the owner of the winery put a Hibiscus Flower in my wine glass, then poured sparkling wine over it. The color of the flowers streamed upward with the bubbles. The taste was phenomenal so I bought a jar to take home. I added a flower in my Champagne flute and enjoyed immensely. Mmmmm! Recently, friends of mine wanted to know where they could get a jar. I researched the winery I went to and they did not have the Hibiscus Flowers as a product in their online store. Then a light bulb went off! Go to Amazon.com. Lo and behold, when I keyed in "Hisbiscus Flowers", this same product at the Arizona winery showed up on Amazon. You can re-use the same flower in one sitting when adding more Champagne or Sparkling Wine. Yum!

Wish the jar came a little bigger because I almost finished the whole jar in one gathering of 7

Tasty Hibiscus flowers in syrup
It has been years that I keep a jar of hibiscus flowers in syrup in my fridge for desserts, apero, etc. It is very sweet, so I take the flowers out before I use them to let them drain a little bit. It is just delicious. These flowers melt in mouth and give you a touch of exotism just opening a lid. I bought the 7 ounces jar, which contains 11 edible flowers that are 100% natural, even the cane sugar. You will find on the lid a tiny recipe suggestions brochure with delicious recipes. Enjoy!

Delicious and Beautiful
I was recently at the home of a friend for dinner. I brought along a bottle of Prosecco. My host handed me my champagne flute and it was rose colored. I said" I thought it was white", she said she had added a wild hibiscus flower to the bottom of the flute causing the rose color. When I got to the bottom of the glass I ate this delicious flower and that's all it took for me to be hooked. I came to Amazon and bought a bottle immediately. If you read up about how this business started in Australia you will be most impressed. The flowers gently open as the bubbles surround them and they taste divine!!

Great to add to cocktails
We use these to add to cocktails. Interestingly enough, it was my dad who recommended these. His favorite is to add one to an old school Manhattan (whiskey and sweet vermouth). They add just a touch of sweetness without overpowering the flavor of the drink. They're perfect.
