Replacement Audio Upgrade Cable for Sennheiser HD650, HD600, HD580, HD58X, HD660S, Massdrop HD6XX Headphones 2meters/6.6feet

So, after a couple of years, my Sennheiser HD 660S cable gave out, the right channel failed, having to keep the cable in a very specific position.I looked for the original cable, £36 and not in stock where I could find.Figured I'd give this cable a go, as a temporary fix for my problem. Quality is high, and I have to say, the cans feel more "punchy" than with the original cable.. I don't know, maybe imagining it but there is definitely no deterioration in sound quality. So much so, I'm going to buy another as a spare. I can't comment on the durability as I've only had it for a few days, but for the price, it comes highly recommended.

Excellent value for money my Sennheiser HD650 sound great with these. Well made and hassle free unlike my stock cable. I notice an improvement in sound. A1.

I am embarrassed to say for years I ran over my last lead so many times (lucky that it never broke) but it got caught so many times in the chair, alas on the last time they got caught the headphones flew of the side and the lead was not too well after that.I had to get a replacement and decided to go for a shorter lead, WOW and I mean WOW what a difference that shorter lead has made, so much so I have different make of headphones (I have several pairs I use for reference) with a long lead that I have now found a short lead for those, no more running over headphone leads.....wohoo...... Now, I have this clip on Mic with a very long lead......DOH!!!

It's a great looking cable and I love the spring that prevents the cable near the jack from too much bending.It typically works just fine, however, I have to give it two stars as sometimes I hear static buzzing and while hearing it, the cable near the split (into L/R cup) actually can SHOCK me through a T-shirt.

Really good, highly recommended for £16.Not as long as the original but long enough.Braided up to the split for each headphone. Black braiding over a red cable. Looks very nice!Also a spring at connection to protect the cable at aux end!Very impressed, highly recommend.

This cable is just great. Outstanding quality!Pros:+ Cable is just the right length (original cable was too long and got tangled up under the chair wheels all of the time), this might sound minor but it's actually pretty important.+ Beautiful quality cable it's soft silicone cable and braided until the splitter+ Great gold plated connector with solid aluminum body. Splitter is aluminum as wellCons:- Plugs that connect to headphones are both black, making it harder to tell which side is which. I would prefer to have one red and one black.

I don't know yet if this is an upgrade. I have only had this cable for a few years. It is not expensive, and sounds good so far. Better than the Sennheiser replacement cable? Possibly. Used it to connect iTunes (MacBook Pro) via a dragonfly red amplifier/DAC to Sennheiser Hd600 headphones. I ordered another one while it is available on amazon.
