Sister recommended, she is crafty and wise!
I was hemming some dresses and my sister recommended this product. I used it instead of a previous product which you iron. I really found the double sided stickiness totally wonderful. Still needs ironed, but you measure and stick your double stick fusible tape between the two layers of fabric , it stays in place, and you iron it down. And as they say in England, And Bob's your Uncle! She also recommended a Hot ruler, which works great!

Works well
I'm a quilter and I also make bags. This work wonders for holding a small space together while you need to sew.

Hands down, the best
I have been using this product for years to finish my in the hoop embroidery seams so I don't have to hand sew them closed. The perfect timing is 10 seconds with your hottest iron setting, no steam needed. Let it cool completely, then the paper peels off easily. Another 10 seconds to set the glue. Can tear it with your fingers. Sometimes I warm the fabric slightly to make the glue tacky so it stays in place. Helpful for longer seams, especially if you have a roll that is pretty curly and fights you. I prefer the 1/2" and not the 1/4" of this same product. I feel like the 1/2" is more manageable to handle with my fingers. Just as some friendly advice, too long of heat and your glue will evaporate, so timing DOES matter. My iron may be hotter or cooler than your iron, so experimentation may be needed. If your paper peels easily without lifting any glue, that's the perfect temp/time. Happy sewing!

Serves its purpose
If you don’t want to sew and need to make a hem temporarily, this is perfect. The problem is it doesn’t hold up for too long. I have to re-iron the hem after every wash, otherwise it loses the adhesive.

Best stuff ever
This stuff is fantastic! Super easy to use, sticks for a long time even through washes. So much easier than having to sew !

Easy to apply / Didn’t last long
These were easy to apply to them up some pant legs, however the only lasted for a couple of washings before the hemming had to be reperformed. Would be great for temporary uses.

Highly recommended
I cannot sew. I have used this product for years to shorten my jeans and dress slacks. It works extremely well and does not separate after having been through multiple wash and dry cycles. I have used it on cotton, wool, blends, even polyester with excellent results. However on polyester you must be careful to use enough heat to melt the fusible tape without melting the polyester. I have not found it to stiffen the fabric except maybe for very thin, sheer fabric.
