Polk Audio TSi300 5.0 Home Theater Speaker Package (Black)

Talk about bang for your buck. I am an audiophile on a budget (is there such a thing??), and i was using my dad's paradigms for a while in my room, but I wasn't aloud to take them with me when I moved (go figure), so I decided to get a 5.1 system. I already owned a 5.1 Marantz NR1504 reciever and a SVS sub (both of which I love), just needed these guys to top it off. When you consider that this whole set cost about as much as 1 paradigm bookshelf speaker, they truly are amazing. The term "Bang for your buck" can be seen as a "could be better", but let me just say that these really are fantastic. I've never owned anything from polk before, so this was a bit of a shot in the dark. but here's what I like / dislike:Pros:They are small speakers, but can fill a room with sound very easilyThese speakers shine when you play jazz, or movie sound tracksThey have good accuracy, and a great mid rangeWhen you drive them a bit harder they keep up very well, maybe even sound better at high volumesNo fatigue from listeneing for a whileDont sound cheap or tinnyVERY efficient speakers. The smallest of amps could power them easilySmall and light. Originally I wanted bigger speakers, but these fit very well in my room, and are easy to move (great for constant moving in and out of apartments)The rears come with self mounting hardware (I got them in open box condition, but they should be the same)Cons:The highs could be a little bit cleanerThe bass could be a bit tighterThat's itAs I said before, they sound great for jazz and movie soundtracks/classical music. You definitely feel the band in the room with you for these genres. They don't shine quite as bright for metal and punk music, but klipsch usually takes the cake there because of their drivers (I'm not a huge fan of their horn tweeter, however).Despite their limited fallbacks, these speakers are truly great. Would recommend to anybody looking for speakers in this price range, hands down.

Oh my gee golly! Had these for about a year now and the investment was so worth it. Music sounds different through these (better), and movies are really immersive now. These go really well with polks 10" front facing sub and an onkyo receiver. They look almost as good as they sound. I'm an Audio visual technician too so that says alot, it's hard to impress me and Polk is doing it right. I just wanted a system that could shake my windows if I want and this with the sub definitely does just that. I never let them go higher than 60% on my receiver and they start shaking the windows at 45%.

I bought these to replace our 30 year old speakers in our newly renovated living room. These Polks do not disappoint! For the price they make your ears squeal before they start distorting!I have a better set up in my man cave, but these are amazing for general use! In my honest opinion, Polk should have still been making the TSI series, it's a shame it's discontinued.+1 Polk+1 Worldwide Stereo

Great buy for the money. Was debating between this and klipsh. Decided to save a few hundred and let’s just say it wasn’t a mistake. Plenty of power to fill any size room, I think is sounds better the more volume you give them

We've had this speaker setup in our media room for a while, now. It has excellent sound quality, when paired with the right head unit.We're very pleased with the setup, and the price was great compared to many others.

Very nice sound, undeniable Polk sound quality. Its been couple of years since I've been using them in my basement home theater and they sound awesome.

These are some great speakers. I work in the A/V field and I am constantly working with high end audio equipment. Of course they aren't the top of the line, but for the price, you really can't beat this deal. Polk has always been one of my favorite brands and these speakers do not disappoint. I also love the black glossy finish.
