good quality
easy to use and good quality product, does a excellent job , makes a very good wire splice with good continuity

Worked remarkably well.
Used these to fix a broken ABS Sensor cable. Takes a few extra hands or a clamp to hold both wires in the terminal, but once you do and heat it up, it makes a great waterproof, soldered connection.

Quality product
I used these for outdoor holiday lights and need something weather proof and easy to use. These are great quality & easy to use. I have bought other brands and there quality was just not good!

Works great for small gauge wire in Cat5e cabling
Makes wiring simple and secure. Can be a bit difficult to get the solder to flow and not melt wire jacket. Extremely secure. I use it for splicing cat5e in control (not true network data) situations. Has never failed me.

Super great way to solder wires to a solid connection
I loved these connectors. They ate easy to use and make a very nice connection.A few things to note...1. When you cut the wires, leave enough room on one of them to slide the connector completely over the exposed wire. This is so you can physically twist or hook the two exposed ends together and prevent one side of being missed in the solder globular. Then slide the connector over the exposed wires and center the solder directly in the center.2. After applying the connector, don't tug, pull, or otherwise create tension or compression in the wires until its cooled. Failure to do so will cause the connector casing to tear, crimp, or have the wires penetrate the soft casing. Once cool, (15 seconds) the plastic hardens and the wire is safe to move.3. If you are making multiple connections in the se area, you will want to put something metal in between the one you are currently soldering and the ones you already did. In my case, I just place a pair of wire cutting pliers as metal backer for the one I was working on. If you don't, the heat will melt the other connectors and the wires can come loose or the connectors can stick to one another.4. Likewise, if you male a mistake or your connection broke/failed, you can remove the connector by heating it and pulling the wires apart. Then heat each of the ends and use a pair of pliers to scrape off the connector coating. Don't touch the area you heated because melting plastic and solder will stick to your skin and burn you! These make soldering connections so easy and flawless. They are a great addition and tool where permanent connectors are needed.

Mechanically sound, watertight
I bought these after running out of the ones in the haisstronica kit, I mostly use them to repair pixel strands that are used outdoors in the Seattle area. These are easy to seal with a portable heat gun and I've had zero failures when I installed them right (I've let the insulator slip out too much once).I've checked wires used with these seals for 2 seasons (4 to 8 months) of wet/ice and mechanical load (< 2 lbs) and I haven't seen any evidence of leakage.I've also gotten away with using them to splice two wires into one, and the water seal seems to work (no tear down tests yet), though it's not something I'm very comfortable with.

Coolest wire connectors ever
These are pretty sweet. The little green ring on each side holds the wire in place. It really is slide stripped wire in each side and hit it with the heat gun.

joint stronger than wires being butted together
These are well worth investing in. I find the yellow size good for attaching, say, a plug attachment from the vehicle to the trailer. I western union the wires together and then push the connector over the joint. I then heat the connector with a butane type torch 'til the solder melts. As a bonus there appears to be epoxy in the sleeve that ensures the joint is hard to pull apart. In fact, trailer wire will always break before the joint fails.

Let the solder flow
Using a heat gun with reflector nozzle worked really well with these. Within seconds, the solder began to flow and the sleeve shrunk down nicely with the adhesive gripping the insulation on the leads. Secure 20 AWG to 18 AWG nicely, as well. Once cooled, the bond is solid. While still hot you can still remove rather quickly should you accidentally make an incorrect join.
