Got these plates in order to run our a/cables through the walls. I initially bought the metal ones with the tabs you bend and they are complete garbage and are not secure. These are very easy to install at the screw tabs keep it in place.

I use these to run cables in the wall mainly for TVs or AV. These are great if you don’t have an existing gang box and can be retrofitted into an existing wall. Take your time cutting with a sharp razor, where you keep cutting a bit deeper every time. No need to saw drywall as it will eventually cut clean through with a little patience.

Great product for hiding wires to tv in home theater. Screws are tough to turn in tangs and I was worried heads would strip before they got tight. They didn’t but might order extra in case that does happen. Screws turn easier if you hold tang to keep 90 degree angle while tightening.

My brother was finally installing a hardwire network connection in his 2nd bedroom and was going to run a line from the living room (cable modem). These made the task much easier and proper. Will use these in the future if needed.

Works as expected and had no issues. Quality is great.

These are much stiffer than the cheap ones. They will draw into the wall nice and flush.

The mounting screws are very hard to tighten. Once installed, it does its job. It's just a bit hard to install.

Better built than similar item at lowes. Heavier though only slighter and all around more stable.
