Fantastic drill and multi tool couldn’t believe the power for only a 12 volt speaker could have better sound quality but overall price is a steal

The first one that arrived was unusable, both batteries were oozing and the speaker was scraped and dented.The second one they sent me was useable but the speaker was dented and scratched.

Picked this up on sale for $100. Its a good deal and the oscillating tool alone is worth that in my opinion. Though I should have looked closer, I was bummed to find it came with the non-usb charger batteries and a non-power jump charger.Update: Both batteries when fully charged don't consistently show 4 bars when button is pushed. Sometimes it shows 3 and occasionally 4. Lost a star I'm afraid.

I have several tools from the Skil 12v line, they are all brushless and excellent tools in their field (12v lightweight). The Skil 12v oscillating multitool is one of the best in the industry. It has tool less blade change, 6 speeds, cuts into anything I have tried it on all sorts of materials without issue (of course depends on blade being used). The drill is very lightweight and powerful for its size, it is my go to drill for most of my tasks. The speaker is a very decent job site speaker, I have used it many times when working outside, plenty of volume and clear sound, battery lasts a long time!Now, to the Skil customer service. I bought this set for my nephew, found a great deal on Amazon Warehouse link. Tools arrived new, obviously never been used, but repackaged. All the tools worked great, but one of the batteries would not take a charge, I tried the included charger and one I have in my shop. At first I wondered if someone had tried to pull a quick on on Amazon by returning the set, but putting one of their dead batteries in the package (people are bad), but when I looked at the serial numbers on the batteries, they were sequential and no signs of wear at all. Since I got a great deal, I didn't want to return the set, so I reached out to Skil Customer Service. WOW! They answered the phone on the 3rd ring, I explained my situation to a very pleasant woman, even told her I bought the set on Amazon Warehouse site, she said no problem, and after getting some information from me, she created a dispatch to have a brand new battery to me, free of charge, no shipping, etc and I did NOT have to return the old battery. I received the replacement battery about a week later, brand new in sealed package, not refurbished, etc. No one has service like this these days. Anyway, I'm now completely sold on Skil's new line of tools and their parent company, Chervon. Seems they fully stand behind their products.
